I can't find any recent transfer guides for new players (level 1)
Any thoughts on what I should be looking for in the transfers? I am getting my head around training (I think!) but not sure what I should be going for here.
Thanks

Auction-
You can buy players with token and money
Scout,recommended-
You can buy players with tokens only
Negotiations-
You can make offer for player by both tokens and money
Auction have knockout rounds,You need to bid in every knockout round to qualify for next round.
You can also win with 1 token if no one place bid(token)
Auction have 3*,4*,5* players.
You can also sell your players in auction from contract menu
Any other help?
Bannedlike(forced)//for just posting guides and winning 1 league in 21 seasons without knowing reason..
Negotiations not available until Level 4
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
Great thank you very much.
Only other thing is what players I should be looking to buy/sell at my level.
Buying-
Should I be looking for a couple of 18 year old 5 star prodigies to train. Or a team of 27 year old 4 star players. Or maybe a bunch or 18 year old 3 star players who aren't that far away from 4 stars?
Selling-
And who should I be looking to sell? Any 30+ 3 stars players need to go asap??
Thanks very much

You are new? One great advice: never spend money in this game. This game functions a lot like a casino game, and even worst in some cases. Be careful while you are on the auction market; don't let yourself carried away in bidding wars.

If you want to save tokens and spend less time in auction. Then go for 18-22 aged players.
But you must try 30+ old players if you will buy players every season.
At such low levels I've had considerate success with 3* or even 2* teams. As of now don't rush into winning titles, rather your aim should be finish to at least in Top 4 in league, which I managed in every non-tanking season so far in 9 seasons (1 tanked), since the CL offers a good amount of money for a guaranteed 6 games, while in the Cup 2 bad games and it's over. I'd suggest that don't give any bonuses in Cup and CL, but give L1 or 2 bonus in *league games you are the underdog.
Don't get fast trainers now, since you don't have the resources to get them. Those old players can do a great job for 3 seasons, so look for them in 3 tokens in the market. A 75+% should be able to last 3 seasons. Don't spend more than 3 tokens for any player, they are important. And look for dual role players (like DL/DC, DC/DR). Those multiposition players are very useful when down with injury or suspension. And in game, an AML/ML and/or AMR/MR can turn your formation from attacking to defensive or vice versa according to the circumstantial needs.

A good defence is the best offense.
Some great advice thank you very much. Any other things that you would have liked to know at the start please let me know as I am a little lost right now!!
So what age should I be buying a 75% player at right now? And what kind of resources do I need to start getting fast trainers down the line? (I am not totally sure what a fast trainer is?!!)
Oh and what are good levels to set seat prices at at the start?? Everything is set to 3 right now.
Thanks again
Fast trainers are young, under-21 players who train fast. If you use Facebook amd play TE from there, then check out www.topeleven.com/play-old. Train a U21 in 3 bars practice match, and if he gets 85+ progress he's a fast trainer. Their value-to-wage ratio (called "TR factor" by nikolgiorios) should be more than 35 to be classified as a fast trainer. You can get more help here: http://forum.topeleven.com/showthread.php?t=27993 . Some players have lots of rests, so they train one of their players a lot. This is called power training. It's quite advanced (L20+ usually do it) so as of now the best bet is to buy old (26+) players, use 'em for 3 seasons, and sell 'em at the end of their contract. Do keep a few young players tho, they're easy to sell.

Here is the team show case for my team RINOKEROS, which played only with the sources of the game (without buying or farming).
I have plenty of examples from players I bought and had a very good career.
