How do I unfriend?

Yes, I know it's been an ongoing topic. I still couldn't find an answer, though: I added a friend in-game, not via FB, and now he's constantly forcing "friendly" games on me, exhausting my players. Might be his tactic to stay on top, but it's annoying as hell and I can't get rid of him. No cross, as stated so often (I'm playing Desktop PC, not mobile). I find "friends" under the "home" button now, but not a single option to unfriend them. Please help

Yeah, I made the mistake of friending a person I have to play later in the tournament, now if we play in the final I'll have to be very careful (though I calculate how many % I have to go before my next match).

He may just be playing you to improve his team though, I find playing Mourinho I never win or get good ratings for my players. This directly effects the attributes given to your players at the end of the game, the better they play, the more they get.

It certainly isn't an obvious option on how to unfriend though.

Your players cannot be 'exhausted' if he is the one that planned the friendlies. Maybe he is testing his tactics.

Yes ..there is no change in your players

You don't lose or win anything if you are the away team in friendlies

To unfriend somebody, you need to go to the old version:

Select the person to be unfriended from the row at the bottom of the screen, and then click on the icon highlighted:

In new version, you'll see a red X on the player's profile picture:

Not exactly prominent, is it? Lost in the the example I gave because the background to the friend's avatar is the same grey...
