First season, what is next?

Don't do anything. I've managed CL spots in those levels with 2* teams. The CL games give you a lot of money for at least 6 matches, while in the Cup 2 games and you're out. I'd suggest you to build up your finances now, since you already have a decent squad. Don't spend the greens(unless they're less than 50%), reds and blues(may spend the blue to convert orange morale to yellow)

By the way, I even had one case where there was less than 3 hours between 2 competitive matches (League and Cup). This was last season. I posted about it in the thread for last season.

Im sure you did but it is still very rare for players to have the three games in one day. I´ve had a few where there´s been the 3 hours between games .If that happens & it´s a home game you have the option to spend the two tokens & move the game.

The option of moving a league game that was 3 hours before the Cup final this season was not available though.
