I have a question about Scout players,,do they really worth these Tokens? I need a player with multi positions and I only find him at Scout and Negotiations .
Should I buy him from scout or wait until I find same in market? and are they fast trainers in Scout?
Won the first cup match yesterday 7-0 Neymar scored a hat trick already,with the age 28 I'm surprised he is still doing well, early to say. The cup draw was OK and CHL a bit complicated as I get some old rivals that made my team life harder before, will be some good challenges. Waiting for league draw to start buy players.
The season started good and bad. My main team lost his away match with 2-0 in the cup against an equal team. Yikes. I just brought out the green packs and now have 5 scout players again. Lets hope it helps. My second team won his home match with 4-1 but that away goal is always scary with Nordeus :p
Only bought two players so far. Lost one bidding for a good striker after 15 rounds and a hickup in the internet, grmblll. But also bought a good defender on the transfer list. Finally my first buy on the transfer list. Woohoo. Do I loose the tokens that you have to pay upfront (10 tokens)?

Managed 4-1 in the first lead away from home when it was obvious neither side was ready for the curtainraiser.
Today it was tighter but we held on to 1-1 and went through where we face a club two leagues above.
Pity as I only have one cup final to show for my efforts so far.
Seems there aren't many green packs around to farm this past couple of days, pity as Imwont be purchasing any.

My goal for this season is to NOT buy any players (except for any incoming youth player that's worth it), and finish in the highest possible position in all three competitions.
The aim is to save cash and tokens - is this practical?
Day 2 - Palace Terriers Cup report.
Palace Terriers played their Cup 2nd Leg match away, and strolled through the first half, conceding a goal on the way, but turned on the after-burners after the break to win 5-1 and progress 8-1 on aggregate.

It is usually better to buy players from the auction market. It is all about the timing. Don't go into bidding wars. Bid in times where there is much less activity.

Just finished my second leg with a win 2-1 , first leg was 5-0 for me , the interesting part is he watched the second leg and still won 2-1 :)
The worst part today is that I bought a player from the market which cost me 18T , there was another competitor who didn't give up but i was insisting on this player as if he is Messi :)

You still won the bid. The problem is when you lose the bid. I have lost bids in knocked-out rounds 20-25 or so. I can tell you that it is not a good feeling at all. So, avoid bidding wars; don't go bidding into the higher rounds.Quote:

A few new players brought in over the last few days for me with a lot of power training done. Training now up to level 58.
My star player Foster as always put right on the verge of ten star quality again too.
Unless something major crops up that will be my power training and player purchases done for the season. Now its a case of trying to farm Green packs again to get them up ready for the next season.

It is very difficult to built a proper team when you have only 7-8T at the start of the season. I did not buy any tokens for this season though I was tempted. I have to say that it is hard to resist at times, which is one of the reasons why Nordeus is making 'good' business.
My team contained mostly 4-star and low 5-star players at the start of this season; only one player was in the low 6 stars.
I was able to get 4 players. I still don't have a player for DL and DML. I made a mistake in bidding for the DL/DC though as there was a manager who bade in the last few minutes, and I bade just after him, which means he noticed it. I was on the brink of getting the 20 year old MC; I tried to bid in the last second, but the time was out. As for the MC with the playmaker special ability, there was already 3 bids for him, where one of the bidder seems to want him very much. Still, I was tempted to bid for that player, but after some more thinking, I did not. I already have 4 MCs in my team, 3 are which are decent though there is a lot of room for improvement in that part of the field. With only 2-3 tokens left at that particular time, it was better to keep those in case other bidders bid after me for the remaining 2 players. On overall, it is still better with those extra 4 players than having what I only had at on Day 1. So, it is still positive in some way, especially when considering the small amount of tokens that I had.
It is seems that it might be tougher this season, not only because of the lack of tokens for purchases but also there is a team full of scout list and recommendations' list players in the same league, and there is also another strong team. I will also likely miss some games as I have to attend exams. I think it is bad or not appropriate to play games like Top Eleven when you are close to exams period or you are in exams period; you are likely to get distracted or waste precious time.
By the way, I would like to thank those who have been helping me by sending me packs last season when I was going through bad periods (excessive injuries and so on). These include Nik and Peter.
My LEAGUE LEAGUE is very similar to the one of last season, because like last season i have 5 abandoned teams and 9 teams very similar in quality, so far cant see one team being favorite.
I have one team from last season LEAGUE and besides that, some of them have really strange formations.
My first game is against a abandoned team, so good game to make savings for CL games.

The League draw has (finally) been revealed and Casuals are mid-Quality in a pretty small range of Quality (except one) in a League of also-rans and tankers (except one).
