A crazy bidding war - how many rounds?

I posted this on my FB, but still want to repost it here. Unfortunately, when this happened last night I was in sleep so did not see how many rounds.

Last night, a crazy biding war happened on one of my players on auction but I was in sleep; look at the price in the red circle, which is 311M. The original price of this player is 104M. He is a AML/AMC/AMR with shadow striker SA and one point shy of 6 star.

I don't know how many bidding rounds happened but this must be extremely crazy!

Em... I guess it is much more than that.

How much it costed (money, not tokens) you to win the auction that brought you the goat head? If I remember correctly it was around 200M, that was round 50+tokens; this one is 311M, so must be more than that.

Longest bidding war i've ever witnessed is 64 rounds; thankfully I wasn't involved in it. Just enjoyed the show.

Wish there was someway to figure out how long this one lasted. Who knows maybe 5 people got the goat head!

May be a lot of users were involved in this one, and if not, it is more likely that it went very high in the knock-out rounds.

On the users side, it is a waste of tokens and virtual money. Virtual money may not be a problem if it is in the higher levels though. But, at this 'price', if a user was so desperate, it would have been better to use the scout's list given that at least one AML/AMC/AMR player or a player having one or more of those positions is usually present in there.

In my opinion, it is not worth it at all to go to such 'extremes'. But, some users can afford to do a lot of wastes if they are able to farm a lot of tokens or are able to obtain tokens for 'free' using other ways. Also, sometimes the user gets carried away, and realise his mistake after having lost the bid (and sometimes even after having won the bid).

Nordeus must be very happy (and proud of themselves) though when such situations occur.

I think this one had more than one hundred "round", I meant one round is one bid, in another word, one token or one raise of the price.

I even think this could be around 150-200 bid because I roughly remember that to raise the price from 100 M to 200 M costs at least 50-60 bids, this one is from 100 M to 311 M, so must be more than 100 bids.

This happened around 1 am my time when I was in sleep, and I don't recall if I had a good dream though :-)
