Who should take the penalties?

I don't select strikers as they have this little problem of not scoring much, for over 5 seasons I have my Star mr/ AMR Neymar taking the penalty's but if is not him I put any midfielder in form to do it.

But the striker not scoring issue has been solved or not?

My STs have been scoring decently in the past 2 seasons. By the way, my first penalty taker is a ST too. In the last 2 seasons, he missed twice. Once, he was not present on the field, and a non- penalty assigned DC took the responsibility and he scored.

But, my best penalty taker was an AML/AMC/AMR. This was during 2015. He missed only once during the time that I used him (2 seasons or so), and the match where he missed was a match that seemed to be a fixed or trolled match.

I think there is something else involved when it comes to scoring penalties and free-kicks other than skills required and the random if effect if any.

Well my both strikers last season scored about 80 goals together, and my star player neymar scored alone 93 so I believe there is something with the strikers, my team scored about 280 goals last season so I can't complaim much.
