My first post ^^ excuse me if it is a silly question but it does appear confusing to me...
I just lost a league game for the first time (I'm lvl 2)... the good news for me is that I am in an unassailable position to win the league anyway (which will complete my treble yay!)
I do rely a lot on previous game stats and match report to improve my future games... for example, in a cup round where I lost the first tie by one goal, but my stats were dominant apart from the shot count and the report saying it came down to "individual quality", I simply changed to a more offensive approach and won the return tie by 6
Yet in this league game I lost by one goal and the only downside appeared to be the report saying "The odds were in their favour"...
Now that's a bizarrely general statement, odds just mean probability to me and to increase probability of winning is... basically anything in the game, so it doesn't really say anything does it?
To my credit, my team had a higher rating, all bonuses were 10%, full condition full morale. The end game stats were very even and no one in either team had an extraordinarily worse game than others (equally worst were both teams' keepers).
The only difference was it was a 3am Away Game my time and I couldn't manage the game, while the opponent pulled a horse cart of friends to support him, which pulled the possession stat to around parity (before this I had never had a game possession below 60%, even in games I lost or against higher rated opponents).
So what do these "odds" actually refer to? How many friends you pull or? Any other variables I may not be aware of? Or a euphemism for saying when the game is even the game engine just tosses a coin to decide the winner? How do I use this information to improve my game?
