In the past, some people were getting more than 100 packs per day. Think how much easier it was for them to play this game compared to those that were getting no packs at all or very few packs per day. Many of those users were overpowering their teams and winning mostly by quality advantage. Some users have so much packs accumulated in their game accounts that the recent imposed limit won't affect them for the next few seasons. But, many of those users are not be blamed; it is Nordeus itself that has to be blamed for having provided unfair or unequal means.

Nordeus dropped the video limit as an act of fairness, but yet people still can't watch videos! Nordeus puts a limit on the number of gifts per day to promote fairness for people who don't have friends. Maybe all teams should be equal, and all players have the same rating. That's fair.
Also, what Niko said. Videos are easier to get via mobile and tablet. You also spend a shorter amount of time watching videos compared to the pc. Rotate between the mobile and pc to get as many videos watched as possible. i don't know if it's possible in your country, but sign up to do Google surveys. You get paid for taking 1-5 question surveys. It takes some time to build up the amount, but you can use your money to buy tokens via Google play. It helps out a little...which is better than nothing at all.
