Palace Terriers played away in their 2nd Leg match and really had a game of two halves. The first half was a very cagy affair, with neither side getting anywhere or giving any quarter, but Terriers suffered their first injury of the season when Peter Jorgensen, playing DMC, left the pitch, to be replaced by Abdou Ewagnignon. Ronaldo Pigatto Baratto broke the deadlock 6 minutes after the break, but the home side equalised a quarter-hour later. Pigatto Baratto put the visitors ahead again, but the hosts hit back with two goals in a minute to take the lead themselves. Esneider Gil provided an equaliser for the Terriers, but the home side had a sting in the tale with the winning goal a minute later. Terriers progress to the next round 7-4 on aggregate.
Palace Casuals played away after a goal-less draw in the 1st Leg, so it was all to play for. The home side lost their ST to injury in the second minute, and Casuals had an injury of their own in a frantic last 8 minutes of the first half. Makoto Taketa lasted only 37 minutes on his debut, leaving the field and being replaced by Gary Millar. Jack Auger put the Casuals ahead and midfielder Charly Ducourneau scored his debut goal in the stroke of half-time. The home side pulled a goal back just before the hour mark, but the Terriers defence held firm to put them through 2-1 on aggregate.
The Terriers Management went shopping again and picked up an MC and GK to finish their current squad restructuring.
