Youth with a full roster

So I will get my two new players in 3 days, but my roster is currently at 21/22. What will happen exactly?

If you want both in your squad you will have to sell a player… one is free the other youth is a tokens buy

Ok but how long do I have to sell it? Meaning, should I wait until I see the quality of the players?

I believe you are new in the game and those are your first academy players. Right ?
Ok, one youngster is 4* but you must pay 12-24 token to sign a contract with him.
So, you 'll release him right away because it's not worthy those token for a 4* player.
The other youngster is 2* and free of token (0T). Usually we sign this guy and try to sell him sooner or later.
If you are in a higher lv, you can get some good money for this player selling him in managers who are 3 levels bellow.
In that case, I sell one of my not usable players to have an empty place, sign the youngster and selling him too.
But in your case you can't (if , repeat you 're lv1 -2).
Unless you have some really useless player among those 22.
So, you just let the other youngster free to go too.

so sad that i invested alot of money building my youth academy just to release one and sell the other one.
i cannot effort a home grown talent which i love to have.
12-24 token is best invested in aution for a better 18yo 5* in the market.(need to do some changes in academy system).

I don't understand why the token one can't be a five star player, that you can actually use, maybee even with a SA

Ok, you can expect a 2* player (the 0T) with a quality about 10-14 and market value about 100 K' .
Not much.
So, it will be very difficult to sell that player (because it's only one lv bellow you and they 'll see him only as a 3* player) and even then not get some descent money.
So it's up to you to decide if you 'll sell a player from your roster to sign this academy youngster.

Another use of 0T academy players is to keep some of them and drop the quality of your team (it's for the Cup draw).
I recommend this to whom wants to "swim in the deep waters of the game".

if you invested extra token/money to build it earlier, it was wrong.
If you just build it for the serial of construction it's ok.
Selling the 0T youngsters is a good income.
In a higher level, you can get and sell 2 juniors for about 200 millions (in one season).
Those money hardly you 'll find in a competition as a prize.

that is what most manager including me been doing season after season.
the other youth with token would be better with 5* like gert funck said. maybe i be intrested in getting them for 10-24 token. like i said i would love to have a youth from my academy bt 4* 10-24 i dont think so. to much for me to train them to be scout or world class.
