Guys! Did you noticed the fact you are struggling with almost same guys in cup and CL?
Discussed in PMs with Nik about cup manipulating... You prolly know i'm doing since almost the beginning (of my career). So far it was so good and worked like a charm... last 2 (maybe 3?) seasons are nightmare for me... :( What if manipulating for cup is not working anymore? I selled many-many good players for nothing? :(
keeping only 11 good + 3 very weak method...

I think you're correct about cup manipulation no longer working for the last two seasons; i'm not sure about this season. I played the last two seasons with an 8* team and did not manipulate the draw in either case (144%-151% two seasons ago; 131% to 144% last season). All other teams in the cup were either my level or +1 level, none were more than 1 level above my team. I would think with a high 7* or 8* team I would have drawn teams more than 1 level above mine, but didn't happen.Quote:

In my tournament out of the 32 teams, there are 2 semi-finalists, 2 runner-ups and 2 winners (incl. me) and 1 Nivea Men League winner. All the other 26 teams were qualified via League with 8 of the being Champions, 5 runner-ups and the other 13 were 3rd or 4th.
One participant worth mentioning is a team in the 6th group which finished 5th in their league but qualified to the CL after winning it last season.
Fun fact: The team I won in the CL Final last season is in my group.
4th place should play have to win a Play off round to Quilfy this will be good because it's more realistic
we don't want more realism like this , enough :p
It could be a resolution if I could participate the right transfer market too.If I can buy 119% players at season-opening ok. But this makes of course troubles in the own league level. Anyhow I tend toquit CL and Cup it is frustrating (I could win 7 CL of my last 10 seasons, so I verified I can do the job). And as it is a game and nothing in reality I have to suck it up, I forget it and play only league.

I know it might be out of the topic but since we re speaking about winning CL, stuffs to do, etc...I was wondering how much it means to motivate your team in order to win some balanced games. I think it s hard to "measure" this one. I m just a lvl4 player and from my point of view, motivating the team is not influencing the result. Or maybe it does, but I couldnt feel it.

well, giving a win bonus if it's a balanced game, can affect even if it's a tiny factor.
But if oppo has +1* players, it means nothing.
Only luck can really affect.
I won the CL last season but runner up in league and semi finalist in cup.
I was put in +1 CL this season, my group were all +1 and stronger... Lost the first 3 group matches.... Then won the last 3 as by then my squad had improved and qualified. Its been tough as all I've played against are +1 but currently up in 1st leg semi against 7* team... Soon mine should be 7*. So it's game on still!

Home Guard (double + 3rd in CL) were expecting the +1 Level CL thing, but are in the same Level, but look at all the trophies in the other teams...

I have a same level draw for the 4th season in a row. This season I'm aiming for 3rd place so I can take my chances in winning the Nivea Men League.
Funny enough, all the other 3 teams of my last season's league top 4 are in the same competition, one of them being in my group.
This draws a so big BS...
A FA member finished league at 8.place. He had at the beginning of this season 82%... and he is the only L17 manager, every one else is 18. At group stage, the others have 118%, 109% and 105%.
I really have to say, my anger about Nordeus increase every day...
I see... my team has 130% and I'm +1 CL... maybe it's okay. But a 82%, who finished 8.place? This is stupid and ridiculous.

This is crazy on so many levels. I don't know whether I will keep playing this game next season and I just started.
So one more season with +1 level opponents.
What matters if I dropped my quality below 100% for my team?
Now all managers in my champions league they can just buy a regular 5star player, and at one day they will have 120%+ quality
This is real bull**** IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP
And someone can say oh come on, they draw against teams that are inactive or abandoned.
No! This guy won his league, went through chl semifinals, he is +1 level and i am pretty sure tomorrow he will be near 120%

You must drop a lot the quality if you want to play in the same LV CH.L.

108% at the end of last season, 88% today.
Won CL, League and reached Cup semi-finals.
This season's CL and Cup are both with same level opponents. In fact, I haven't been drawn with +1 level opponents since my 5th season (5months ago).

You never know with this game.
I always end up in +1 CL even in the cup I see a lot of higher level players (usually bottom half teams but also stronger teams). My team usually has bean around 113% at the end of the last seasons and I guess when you are above 90% this happens, it pairs you with 70%-80% teams of a higher level. I also noticed some friends in the same level as mine but with teams around 70%-80% have easier league opponents. That's just my experience I don't really know:confused:
Seems very unlogical. Last season I was at my cup level and +1cl after being 2nd in the league and no other trophies. Now cl and cup at my level after titles in league and cup. Team quality is even some % more this season too.
So here's my reward for being relatively successful last season.
Cup + 1 level. Nothing new here. Same old friends from the level above me, some that are not friends but we've crossed paths in the last few seasons and most of the creme de la creme from my level.
Champions League, as above with one exception. A manager same level as me who I saw last season in the same league as a friend. A friend who began playing within days of myself and who I know has played 24 seasons in a very similar fashion to myself. In short, a player for whom I have the utmost respect. And boy was he trolled in the league last season being drawn with this tanker who I now see in the same Champions League as myself and half a dozen other managers that I "know".
Day 1 of season and I'm at 104%. Tanker from season 91(at least) is at 124%.
If I draw him in the league as well?...............

Starting season at 121%. I'm in a +1 level CL and +1 level cup. It doesn't bother me. I just want matches against active managers with skills so I can work on stuff tactically, before challenging association matches.
