Advice for Counter

I'm 2nd and playing the guy who is top. He's 2 points ahead, so a potential title decider.
He plays with a 3(DMC)-3(DML/DMC/DMR)-2(MC)-2(ST) formation.
He's the home team and one of his strikers is a 7* beast.
I have my own 7* AMC who is my top scorer so will be using him but I need thoughts on a decent counter. He beat me 4-2 at mine earlier this season.

The opponent is tough. Should someone give advice. Lose to this formation. Quiet ridiculous. Winger failed. Midfield failed. 3 dc also going to be a nightmare if use 35v2. Maybe 3dc-2dmc-3w(MC,ml,Mr)-2st. I think. Hope more suggestion from forum members.

I was beaten 6-1. My worst ever league defeat in 3 years. My DC's had ratings of 4! His ST ran the show. I'm shell shocked.

I lose to this formation with 5-1-2-1-1 narrow. That's more ridiculous.

In the end I went 4-4-1-1. Bad mistake! I changed during the game to 3-1-4-1-1 when the goals were flying in seemingly on every attack but that didn't help. I changed tactics during the game - no good. In the end it was damage limitation. The league has gone barring a miracle. I got CL semi 2nd leg later. Back to my favoured 4-1-3-1-1 formation for that.

those games vs teams with many defenders and DMs are very tough.
If I win with 1-0 I 'm very happy with that.
I usually set defense/counters mentality as attack can be a big mistake vs this type.
Key players of oppo are the DML-DMR.
(if they can play with success) as hidden wingers .

3n3w defence seems dangerous this season. I watched a team with quality in the 60s win CL matches vs. teams in the 80s and 90s using 3n3w212.

It's clearly beating 43w(ml mc mr)12. After seeing the CL team's success, I played same formation in an association match, me ~90% with 3 players in 'yellow' positions. I beat a 98% 43w12 with 4:0.

I wish I knew how to beat it!
