Buying players and fees

I bought a player about 2 days ago but squad was full so I sold another one to make place for the new one. When I clicked on contract offer, it said the player will get 21000$ per season and a one time fee of 159000$. Why is that fee applied? Is it random as i don't recall seeing this when I signed other players?

Because when you transfer a player you pay only his ~value , but when you don`t have space to sing directly is like renewing his contract ! When you want to sign up a player from auction make sure you have space for him , otherways you will repay the contract !

Shit, thanks a lot mate, great help so now it's clear!!! Sell BEFORE you buy so you don't pay the signing fee, right?

Shit, just signed another player (he was on my squad but did not have any space for him) and I did not pay any other fee other than his salary! What's going on? Why the difference?

Just calculated the money I had before signing a player and even thou it said I had to pay the guy a one time fee, I don't see it applied to the balance I have at this very moment. What's the problem here?
