Recommended players - how the engine works

The only time I can recall getting a dml in the recommended players was in my first season. DL/DML with free-kicks SA.
I bought him with 25 Tokens (I think) and he went on to be the first in appearances and goals in club's history so far.

I've never bought another recommended player in fact but this one time was definitely worth it.

I badly need AML, I have a low % player at that position and 3 AMR/ST players with 100% quality...And guess what. Recommended player was ST/AMR.... -.-

For the second time this season I have 3 GKs recommended :/

It's always either STs or GKs. I have never had MC or DC recommended in my 14 seasons career...

Sometimes it also gives MC/AMC, MR/AMR, ML/AML, DL/DML or DR/DMR yet as you have mentioned it usually gives the player on positions that you have best players. So it could maybe give DC or DMC positions. But it actually consider your players positions and does not give the players you really need according to me. Maybe it's about luck, who knows.

Is this player worth signing? I would play him as ST , because I have AMR already, who has scored 8 goals in 7 games and hes ratings are 10-9-10-8...
He costs 79 Tokens. I have read, that ST don't score as much goals as AML/AMC/AMR does... ( My ST has scored 1 goal in 10 matches .... -.- )

Depends on your formation and player, some STs really score many and play well. He is a FK specialist, how many FK specialists do you have? His creativity ability is pretty good, I would sign him. I have also an Argentinian ST as a recommendation this week His ratings are 8-8-9 till now.

No just got this 20 years offered and yesterday my second team got a 19 yeared.


I still get keepers or strikers...
