Like you, I need to win both games, I got a sucker 1-1 draw today against a team a really should of beaten. Looks like my form has gone bad at the wrong time. Got a difficult game in the morning too...

Humm... a very decent season for my boys: we have an unassiable 8points clear at the top of the table with 2 games to go. The boys only lost one league game to the 2nd place guy, who we underestimated by playing mostly reserve players and lost heavily 3-1 at home with 6games to go and 11points ahead. That's said, the oldest player called a heated meeting after the game and the big re-grouped though not scoring as much as the 1st half of the season. Imagine, we have a 50 goals difference ahead of Zhangly united. The after math of the meeting was discussed with the team mangement and 1 reserve players was sacked and 4 others sold in preparation for next season.

The plan is to go youth movement and develop over the next couple of seasons (a la barcelona style...ah ah).

The cup was a different ball game. We fought tooth and nail to get to the cop semi. My boys drew the 1st leg away( 2-2). I was pretty confident of the 2nd leg considering it's an home match and only lost one game all season. The team manager lined up the boys accordingly but to my dismay - we conceded and early goal (no thanks to my keeper who had dropped form in the last 8games across all competition!!!). We tried to changed tactics immediately but my oppenent just locked shop and we lost - that was the first game that, we failed to score all season in all competitions and friendlies. I still can't explain how it happenend considering my team was just a little better I have rationalised that to random event?

Now to the immediate, we are sheduled to play the CL final in about 14hrs. I'm cautiously optimistic of winning but the team management have decided to play a la Chelsea's style (defensive) in the CL final and strike on the counter attack. Although we a re down to just 15squad players. I will give the top 3guys a match off in the league sheduled for 2hrs from now....

Results for 14.11.2012: The heart was in the mouth.

League W 2-1: I can't really take much more of this end of season and trying to win the league is doing it the hard way, Went 1 down mid way through the 1st half away against 3rd place team in the league, it was difficult enough playing the fixture and having to win without having being 1 down, Then in the 69th minute, my team were awarded a penalty, and with the pressure on, Striker Santiago Trinios sent the keeper the wrong way and got the equaliser, 5 minutes later he became the hero, scoring what proved to be the winner, He nearly got the match ball in the 89th minute. League rivals noonwdb now must win their last 2 games to force my team into the final game league decider for me, If they fail we will win the league title, our goal difference is effectively an extra half point in the league.

Aarrggg!!! This damn game. All season I've been struggling in the league and battling many injuries. Today I was 6th in the table, hardly little hope of making CL. Decided with three games left, it would be better for me to lose them and start again fresh next season, in same level. Had a match today against team in 3rd. Put out an ultra-defensive team with mostly arrows down. Played my reserve keeper, whose morale was in the red. Match ended 0-0. I had one shot at goal while he had 13. But trust my goalie. He went and kept a clean sheet, and was man of the match with a rating of 9.

And to cap it all, the point I got, guaranteed at least 7th place, which means I'll get promoted.

DAMN, DAMN, DAMN.

Well! the CL opponent has now gone a bought another two scouts to cover his suspended players and strengthen his back four where the 5* had been playing. lol




Three scouts in to win a CL, shame he can't use his his brains instead of his wallet.
Oh well my team of grafters will give it there all, that's all I can ask.
