Misinformation from my tac support during the match.

Playing the second leg of a cup match (first game was 1-0 to him at his stadium). By the 2nd half, the match is 2-1 to me but I'll still be out due to the away goal rule. I receive the first piece of advise from the tac support, it reads "Hold back, lets defend our lead." Ermmm, no we are going to be knocked out. Next piece of support "We will go through at this result, lets sit back and focus on defence"


Ultimately, I ended up losing the tie 2-2 on aggregate, and no thanks to the dumb tac support that couldn't offer me any advice on how to score another goal. This seriously needs to be fixed.

Just curious if the opposing manager was watching the game or not.

My favorite is when I am attacking and already tackling hard and the assistant tells me we should be more aggressive. Maybe there are some secret tactics settings only he knows.

ass.manager is broken.
Keep in your mind the score of the 1st leg and don't pay attention to his advice about who's qualify with the current score.
Many times it's wrong.

had the same problem 2-1 to him at my home first round...winning 1-0 next game his stadium assistant managers advice...defend and hold lead as we will then go through!!

Best advice I can give you, is, make the opposite, what AM says:

Some examples:

-) I started playing defensive+counter, took the lead 1:0, turned off counter at halftime (SoT: 3:3). At ~50 he told me, I should use counter, because of our fast player. I didn't, finally won 4:0, SoT 10:4. (opponent didn't watch)

-) I won first cupleg 3:0 at home. At 2.leg at ~35' he told me, to play offensive, because a draw isn't enough.

-) I was down 0:2 at home after 25', AM told me, to play more offensive. I set hard defending, counter on, MC back to DMC, won 5:2.

-) He often tells, we have no control at midfield... but we use 3 MC, maybe possession bonus is active,... and possession is 60/40 to us. So... what?
