I personally think skills doesnt matter . If they were actual. Goalkeepers would have had vs penalty shot skill and they wouldnt score freekicks and penalties so sucessfuly. But i hope i am wrong

But then again on my secound team now level 2. I have a 20yo mr who is original from when team was created. Gave him amr and ss and trained him only attack. He is somewhat 50 def 150 att and just destroys the game. He outperforms my scout alr/st w ss and even skills

Open the skill tab of a player, and it will be self-explanatory.

One thing for me is certain , 70% speed player can outrun a 200% speed player.

Simulations mean (nearly) nothing. If individual skills play a role at all, Speed matters between simulations.

I saw Toxcatl started a study. Great!
Maybe we'll know soon whether individual skills matter. I believe so. I'm not sure how, and I can't explain counter examples.

I wish the other side of my initial question were found as by-product of this study. Do grey skills matter at all?

I have had a few 4-stars players that held well because their white skills were not far from those of a 5-stars player, so I also believe grey skills don't matter, or at least not significantly.
