I've seen it and I play android and ios. It's still in my inbox.
What is really worrying is that the survey continually asked " you didn't like this idea. How could it be improved?"
It gave the impression that the changes were already set in concrete, going to happen, and that they just wanted to gauge our reactions.

It´s still in my inbox as well but it was only my google + account team that got this
I agree with you ..the impression was very much that this was going to happen
