It looks like the League is set up on the end of season update, but in previous seasons has not been visible until Day 3. In the past couple of seasons, to avoid the 'no matches to be played' screen coming up after the Cup match on Day 2, if you've not a Champions League/Nivea Mens match the next day then it'll show your first League match instead.

I now have a CL match shown for tomorrow, but at the time it's set for, the League match is almost certainly going to be before it so I'll only see what my League match is when I logon tomorrow morning.
