Here's what I know for ratings :

If you score goals in the last minutes and your opponent score less, your team tend to have higher ratings than your opponents. Let's say for example your team lost out 4-0 in the first half but somehow turned the score until 3-4 in the last minutes. You won't get MOM but your players' will get higher ratings than your opponents. Sometimes so extreme like mine a few seasons ago where most of my squad's ratings were in high 7-8.5 whereas the opposing player who got MOM got only 7.7!
