Legend or not?

Guys, I need your help:

My old keeper will retire or will be sold soon, so I've (we've) to decide: is he a clublegend?

-) He was bought at the age of 18, now he is 30 y.o.
-) He showed really good performance in his early days: Season 6-10 he conceeded few goals, after that, his performance dropped sharply. He lost some important games, because he didn't save a single shot.
-) BUT he currently keep the club record of most clean sheets in row.
-) He also made the record of 37 clean sheets in one season at season 8 - Teguia broke this record at season 15 (39) and 17 (41).
-) He also kept record of fewest goals conceeded in one season until last season

-) So he "only" played 278 games - in 12 seasons. (because of his performance drop).
-) Overall he conceeded 146 goals, played 176 clean sheets. (compered to Teguia: 242 games, 72 conceeded, 190 clean sheets)


What do you think? Is he worth to get a place at club museum/club legend?

In my opinion: yes, because of his early club records and his really good performance.
no, because for the long time at my team... the time, the performance was bad are longer than his good days.

I can't decide it... pls help me.

He is, because even in bad times he was there and then still saved your team
Treat your players with respect, look at how Francesco Totti made everyone cry yesterday, even if he didn't play much in late days.
They are not just bots in a database, I'm sure there is a small living entity inside

In view of his longevity for your team, and his overall record, I'd make him a Legend...

I think you know the answer already - you're already using him as a yardstick with which to compare his successors - that's one definition of a Legend.

You should sack him.
Or name him a 2nd class legend (in the "silver" hall).
A 1st class legend shouldn't play to another club.

Nik, you were absolutly right, if we don't have the 20% drop every season. If this doesn't happened, non of my really good player would be sold. It's so incredible hard, to keep the keepers/defenders up to the offensive players, because of the 4% every MoM-title. That's also the reason, why Costa is such strong... 30 MoM-titles are 120% additional!!!

If I take a look at my both 20y.o. youngster Meiringer (ST) and Cipriani (DC), Meiringer is 14% stronger...

My oldest defender is Lichtenegger, 30y.o. still playing a few games, but I think, if I'm playing against the chinese guy again next season, I can't use him. And I'm really happy, if my legends do well for 1-3 seasons for a friend/another club, like Weigl.

Here 's the end of a Legend.
I guess that fans wouldn't mind if Totti 'll go play in a Dubai or Chinese club, to earn some millions for one year
but not to any competitive European club.
