why are players allowed to get away with this team formation. it must be illegal with only 2 defenders but i see this quite often and they dont seem to be affected performance wise. anyone puitting out a team like this should get 20% possession shouldnt they? but they do not, i have been against this too many times and i never get 80% possession like i should against illegal formations
I dont see it is illegal ... actually his formation is quite balanced in my viewpoint regardless of top 11 programmers consider it.
he's playing with 2 middle defenders making his team pretty secure.
The 2 defense mid centers on the right and left wings are playing the role of DL and DR if the arrows are set to behind/back.
you can buy dml and dmr and put them in dl and dr positions .. it works try it
The game suggests you not to play with less than 3 defenders, but it actually doesn't make any difference. I tried to play with 2 DC and it worked just fine.
Also played with no ST, or without players in the opponents side of the field. Still won.

It is basically a "broken" 4-4-2, while it can be applied in real football here the game should either take actions and punish those who play illegal formation or remove the warnings altogether if they are just cosmetic.

Very hard game. Changed in 2. Half from def. and counter attacks to normal and high pressing.
