i kept the lemons as mains and got an avg 30-36 cup, still my level then. but having Q 40-45 sucks big time.

I think it could your best 11 players where ever they are in your 22 man squad, meaning that the CUP cannot be manipulated without selling your entire team.

I will try 3* players in the starting 11 overnight for next season and if that does not work, you cannot manipulate by signing 3* junkies.

A few 4* [just - rated 25] players appeared in my transfer market, then disappeared on refresh...lol. Decided to splash out on a scout player for first time, 22yo 38 rated striker with one-on-one.
