CL update (final): FC Kneipenkick (39.6) - Real Maranese (28.2)
In this level 4th CL final FC Kneipenkick faced Real Maranese, who kicked out many better quality teams with their 3W-1-4-2.
Kneipenkick manager Chris looked in the counter formation thread and played 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond, with offensive wingbacks, attacking mentality and pressure through the center.
The match started with a first chance for Maranese and a yellow for Upton (11.), while Kneipenkick had problems to find into the match. Maranese stood compact and up to half-time FCK had a small plus on chances, but no real sitters. Chris thought about bringing a third striker to set Maraneses 3 man defense under pressure and was about to take a defender out, but than right before half-time came a shock: Bernd Gürser, in the team since season 1 got fouled and had to be subbed. That hurt the team since he was the only AMC in the 18 man rooster. FCKs management reacted and brought substitute striker Pourhaji for Gürser (42.).
In the half-time FCK changed the mentality to let this 4-1-2-3 work. It did not take long for FCK to adopt to this new system (never played before): Long ball on Upton, who got fouled. Garcia converted the freekick: 1-0 Kneipenkick (48.).
This goal played into our new tactics. The opponent had to open, while we countered and had massive offensive power. Maranese was unorganised at a corner, no problem for Kunz to head it in (63.). FCK kept control of the match and was about to sub Upton out, but no before Upton scored the 3rd one after another nice corner by Marie (89.). Final score: 3-0.
So the trophy is back (after last years sh*tty semis exit) where it belongs.![]()

- FCK stories from time to time, when I look around. -
Congratulations on the CL winners! Kick off in 10 minutes for me and unless the guy switches last second, he's gonna park the bus on a 5-1-2-2. We will opt for the 3-1-4-2 hoping our better Q will force it out. In league we didnt watch a really idiotic 1-1 draw with 20/16 shoots for our side unscored. The last performances make me worried, but we' ll see. Our CL OPPONENT has good Q in his main 11 after all. Let s hope Schneider ( one goal today too) confirms his late amazing form. We will start with all players rested and on 99 morale.
On a side note Bakuretsu Storm failed the title assault in the league but won his second straight CL cup winning 0-1 against a better quality team. So we can misappear in front of them, which are going to support us tonight.
Friday. Matchday 27.
LEAGUE. Round 25
Result: LONDON CITY 4-0 ERWANN FC
Goals: Webo 27, Webo 31, Andersson 33, Yashin 76
M.o.M: Oleg Yashin
With the league, all but over, and with us in third spot, the lads seemed to play without fear today. Three goals in the space of six minutes in the first half, won us the match comfortably. Pierre Webo got our first two goals, the first a great solo effort, and the second, rebound a tap-in after, after Oleg Yashin's shot hit the bar. Stig Andersson made it 3-0, heading home an Andreas Costa corner. The second half was a stroll and we got just one more goal, Yashin crashing the ball home after a shot-come-cross from Webo. The three points put us top by 1 point, before the two joint leaders played their matches.
TEAM TALK.
WELL. What an evening. The top 2 teams in our league, both lost at home and so we go into tomorrow's game, as leaders by 1 point. Our league destiny is now in our own hands. We have the final game, away at 11th place. Squeaky bum time.

Season 47...........Manager Level 33
Yes. It's going to be nerve racking, but at least it might not last all day. My final match tomorrow, kicks off at 9am (BST). If we were to win, then it would be all over. If we lose, then either of the other two could finish above us with a draw, because their GD is better than ours. So it'll be all or nothing tomorrow morning.

At least you don't have to wait too long for the kick-off too... best to get it over and done with rather than waiting all day, My final home game vs Revelation kicks-off just after 3pm tomorrow. It's a dead rubber game, It doesn't mean anything, No unbeaten record in the league to chase after since we lost our unbeaten record in the league just after winning the champions league.

3 aerials, 1 wall, 2 dribblers and 1 1on1 sas. I fear corner kicks...
Karl Heinze Schneider: the Saviour
New Team's ace striker paybacks coach Mad's trust in the last part of the season letting him lift the trophy again!
New Team: eQ 42, 3-1-4-2 / 4-1-2-1-2.
Real Madred : eQ 34.2, 5-1-3W-1 / 4-1-3W-2.
What an amazing sight to see a forgotten striker rise back in the final matches and even give us the thropy. The match was FULL of bullets but we managed to avoid em all matrix style. We started of good having a couple of shoots and blocking a dangerous counter, but eeven pushing we couldnt score once. That due to Real Madred's doped 4* Dmc who was ALWAIS on our shoots' trajectory. At the end of the 90', we counted 9 balls blocked by him. Then we had Diamond injured due to a late tackle momentarily leaving us in 10. As soon as we organized our sub (Le Blanc), the balance was already being equalized but then Schneider jumped his marker and got fouled in the Area! After a discussion between the Refree and his crew, it wasn't penalty but a free kick! Hutton raged in the cross and our DC Yuma majesticly jumped higher to head in the 1-0 (33')! At this point Scheider was already unstoppable and after having the keeper disarm two of his shoots he found the perfect route for Denton and served him an easy tap in for the 2-0 (37')!!
After the half time coach Mad reorganized into a more balanced 4-1-2-1-2 knowing a second ST was coming on the other side: and so it happened when Real Madred switched to 4-1-3W-2The narrow diamond gave us a wide margin, pressure, and ball possession lead and the only thing between us and 3-4 goals was again S.Gil, the doped DMC. But just when we were tiring out and the balance was evening Schneider went straight for the keeper instead of serving an outer shoot and after jumping two defenders pierced the goal for the 3-0 (81')!!! The match ended there but as we feared before the start from a last minute corner the still doped Gil served a perfect cross for the ST Lopez giving them the flag's goal.
Scorers: C.Yuma, R.Denton, K.Schneider, J.Lopez.
MoM: K.Schneider (9), New Team.
