I made good experiences with 4-1-4-1 and 4-5-1V-style, but I am sure the system is listed in the counter formation thread.

yeah, but there are different counter formations in the counter formation and in the how to win against all formations thread ;)
i will use 4-1-4-1, it suits my team better, cause my main AMR is injured
League, Matchday 6
Ortigas [4-1-4-1] 1 - 4 New Team [3W-4-3]
http://i49.tinypic.com/2zyfwqs.jpg
We were received by the team before the last one at their home today, facing a Q 18 opponent. As per tactics, we adopted the "elected" counter to 4-1-4-1 getting a 3-4-3 set with two wingers and a central being sure our 7* DC Yuma could well handle their 1* Striker while our DR/DL could help pushing at midfield. We hence adopted offside trap aswell. Since the start we dominated the game and possession, going ahead immediatly when Hutton centered a perfect pass for our aerial defender Denver who headed in the 0-1 (3').
Even tho, we were then unable to have any chanche despite the 3 strong forwards adopted. On the other side, at least three times their 1* striker jumped Yuma to be stopped later by another defender. Quite interesting. Few minutes later it was again their forward getting a ball, jumping 2 defenders and even beating Price from the long range for their equalizer (22'). Pissed off enough, we took out our DR/DL for two fresh DCs (33') almost immediatly sealing our defence and going ahead again with Oliver Hutton using magistrally Denton's fine assist to beat the keeper (38'). Right before the end of the half Hutton was fouled on the right edge and on the following cross he made himself free from marking just to voleè with his right foot under the seven, for the 1-3 (42').
In the second half we kept dominating and wasting many occasion, altho receiving their occasional counter and shoots, untill Yuma started a counter for once and served Lenders who one on one with the keeper this time skyrocketed the ball inside the net for the final 1-4. Pretty deluding result and too much fatigue for a Q18 opponent, but we are still first alone on the board.
Scorers: Oliver Hutton (2), Mark Lenders, Bob Denver, C.Hiks
MoM: Oliver Hutton (8), New team
- Tonight we will face a Thai team in the cup wich announce itself as a hard challenge. They will play 4-5-1 flat and we are still to decide what to use against it (suggestions welcomed).
- We also finally finished the second part of our training schedule, reaching our objectives just by a really, really tidy margin. The results:
http://i49.tinypic.com/2zsti82.png
We reached our training goals mostly on everyone we wanted to, but we reckon to have spent too many boosters making the mistake of adding to our two strikers Lenders and Schneider points untill 39,8Q, which severely slowed down their PT.
We expect the following members to reach their goals:
7*, low waiting time:
-Ivor Hardy (Q 43,8 atm)
-Mark Lenders (Q42,8 atm)
7*, medium waiting time
-Karl Heinze Schneider (Q 41,6 atm)
7*, long waiting time
-Tom Becker (Q 41,4 atm)
- Benjamin Price (Q 41,8 atm)
- Bob Denver (Q 40,8 atm)
- Paul Diamond (Q 40,8 atm)
6*, SWT
-Rob Denton (Q 39,6)
-Richard Flanagan (Q 37,8)
6*, MWT
- Danny Mellow (Q 38,8)
- Julian Ross (Q 38,6)
- James Derrick (Q 36 - Fast trainer)
6*, LWT
- Jason Derrick (Q 35,8)
5*, SWT
- Ed Warner (Q 33,8)
All for now, wish me luck for Cup :P

a solid 5-0 win in the league today keeping the first place with 6 out of 6. not a great day for the strikers, all goals were scored by midfielders and defenders. also Evans scored his 10th goal this season and reached Q of 60 (7 stars).
tough match tomorrow against the team on the 4th place, hoping to keep up the good work and win our 7th consecutive league match this season.
"Thank you" very much nordeus.....!

We won with 2-0 away against 2nd :D I didn't watched the game but the opponent yes, I wanted too see he's face :D
League, round 6 - Mk FC 0-4 Perfect Tactics
Mk FC: 32.8, 4-4-1-1
Perfect Tactics: 51.6, 4-5-1 v (2nd half 4-1-1-2-2)
This wasn't a walkover and a 0-0 draw was on the cards as their 2* defence played like an 8* defence as there was no way through in the first half. We had to make changes in the 2nd half and brought on Suarez for more attacking options. It was still quite hard to break down their team in the 2nd half but Petersen's long range strike broke the deadlock on the hour mark and then it was plain sailing from there, a Suarez double sealed the match as Mk FC were getting chances and a Vittalone header from a corner made it 4-0, keeping us at the top of the table by 2 points.
Goals: Peteresn (59'), Suarez (70', 74'), Vittalone (78')
MOTM: Petersen
Tomorrow we play 2nd place in the league!
First challenging game in the league so far this season. Playing at home against the best rated team in our league (That scout team).
Warrington FC Vs C.C. Kryptonia
The game did not start well with the first chance of the match falling to C.C. Kryptonia within the first minute. With a swift change of directional arrows down the wing the game soon turned. Warrington began to dominate possession in the absence of the opposing manager and chances soon started coming our way. After conceding two quick fouls and gaining yellow cards in the process C.C. managed to defend the resulting free kicks.
The second half seemed to follow suite with the world class defence of C.C. managing to hold off the barrage of attacks coming from Warrington, with the game finishing 0-0.
Pleased that we managed to hold our own but also disappointed that we dominated the game in all areas but just couldn't find a breakthrough.
Cup Match

another player injured for 6 days, what the hell nordeus what the hell , 6 injures in 3 days
1) Are you playing counter- football all the time, or just "in case" ? I avoid to change or apply my formation/tactics in accordance to my opponent. I rather see him/them apply their formation &tactics in accordance with mine.
2) That´s great to hear! How many greenis did you burn? :D
I was able to win 0-2 away against a abit stronger team in the Cup today. He wasn't online tho.
Well, it was exploited, but I lost count of how many clear chances we had to put plenty passed them. Won the game 1-0, but it should have been so much more. The opposition must have had ultra defensive or something as they seemed to clear almost everything I threw at them and they were a much worser team than me.
Oh, and Orlando Salas is now out for 7 days. Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing as Jorgensen can now start alongside my new ST. Depending on the youth player's that come out, I could easily train Jorgensen to be better than Salas seeing as he's 3 years younger and has an SA (Jorgensen at 21yo).
An easy win in the League that saw the team dominate every part of the affair, Bouzgarrou running out with 4 goals scored and the team finishing 8-0 in favor of iLandslaget.
A great warm-up to the day's main event, the first tie in the Cup Playoff against Ricardo FC (lvl8). The team shuffled around quite a bit to try and pressure the higher ranked team even with their home advantage.
iLandslaget set up in a 3-1-3W-3 to counter Ricardo FC's 4-1-2W-1-2 something that worked remotely well, even though the team only had a slight possession advantage inspite of bringing a large group of supporters with them.
The game kicked off in the 7th minute when a foul on Laba resulted in an injury and a yellow card for Boukhanjar of Ricardo FC. Gerailton scored on the following free kick, giving iLandslaget the lead.
Difficulties with communication saw the home team able to equalise the game through Obradovic before the injured Laba could be replaced by Boussaidi.
The swedes were still reeling though, and in the 30th minute the portuguese team were able to grab the lead through Sosa. The teams traded blows, and chances, and in the 38th minute Gary Clancy equalised for iLandslaget and tieing the game before half time.
The 2nd half started off at breakneck speed, and in the 52nd minute Ndjeng was forced to concede a foul which resulted in a yellow card for the defensive midfielder. Gerailton again scored from the following free-kick, punishing the portuguese for their rough play.
Pundits and fans would have further entertainment though, and the teams would prove still harder to divide. In the 74th minute Obradovic scored again to tie the game at 3-3.
Just 3 minutes later Gerailton was substituted in favor of new signing Karademitros, which also meant the team re-shuffled into a more familiar set-up, the 4-1-3W-2 that was used a couple of times in previous seasons.
In the 83rd minute iLandslaget's concerted pressure payed dividends as Gamarra could seize on a loose ball, producing a magnificent solo goal and winning the game for the team.
Game over, 3-4 in favor of iLandslaget and four important away goals heading into the replay.
I won 2-1 away vs an inactive but quite strong team. I'm a bit pissed of his goal, it was a shot from distance in '90. 2-0 away would have been a pretty sure thing, only 1 goal difference though... :/
But i will have like 65-35 possession in the next game and if I score at least once i should be able to advance. Should^^
How can I add new posts? I want to post some errors on top eleven
Sunday (day 8).
LEAGUE: Match day 6.
Result: LONDON CITY 1-1 SC AIR BEL
Goals: Barwolf 57, King 82
M.o.M: Khaled Tarantino
Although we're only six games into the league season, and City are only 3 points off top spot, after this result, I feel as if I'm destined not to do well. The first half was goalless, despite us having many chances. Our visitors took the lead a third of the way through the second period, through Almir Barwolf. We still kept getting chances and finally managed an equaliser through our 4th choice striker, Teddy King, with time running out. We remain 5th and unbeaten, but with just 3 wins from the 6 games, its getting frustrating.
LATE THOUGHTS.
Being already out of the cup, all efforts were concentrated on our home league match against the 12th placed team who had just 3 points and a gd of -15. They have already been beaten heavily by 3 of my main rivals, and when I saw their line-up, I was confident that we could get a good result, considering they have a squad of only 16 players, which includes 4 GK's. Their formation had a DC playing as striker, a GK playing centre midfield, and an MC at central defender. Add in the fact that the outfield goalie was injured and not subbed after just 5 minutes, we should have done better. But, hey-ho, obviously the game engine has decided I'm not going to do well. Might as well now play my reserves and try to avoid promotion (already), and save my tokens and money.
1) Nope, but against 4-5-1 holding a nearer quality to mine playing on narrow diamond (my standard setup) would of be a suicide announced. I'm not a big fan of CF and usually i just use a module i figure in my mind as possibly efficient, but still, we're open to suggestion alwais.
3)I do think not less than 400? I wasted time on the STs not realizing that even standing at 39,8 (still 5*) would slow them down while they had 35 Q at beginning. would of have spared at least 50-100 greens on them.

Another great victory tonight. Alex King, the young centre back having a great game getting on the scoresheet twice along with being solid defensively but was beaten to the man of the match award by an outstanding performance from Andre Piedade who also scored twice. This win keeps the 100% record in the league going.

Riddicolous match.
We had 60% ball possession since start and pushed the favor bar towards them by 70%. They scored twice in 20 minutes with a 100% shoot rate. We set ourselves with Ams and pushed even more, equalizing in the second half and going ahead 3-2. While we kept pummeling for the 4th goal, their 3rd shoot IN ALL THE MATCH got the 3-3. In the last 10 minutes both Lenders and Hutton (1on1 ****IN SA) passed the ball to a midfielder instead of shooting ending it in a draw.
For THE WHOLE MATCH their lone idiotic forward (5*) kept receiving the ball and trying to surpass the defenders or made the tower for upcoming people. 3 vs 1 makes it even ****tier to see.
Incredibly pissed right now. Worhtless ****.
NEXT leg: we'll set ourselves on hard tackling and annhilate them at their own home.
topeleven a game is useless and very far from reality ....
At first seasons you win then you lose in the months following games with players much poorer than you ....
Assistance in Italian is unreliable ignorant is never present and do not always respond to the answers to the questions that you are ...
The only thing you need is to get people to spend money on a pointless game
Observers do not buy 50 tokens ..... all suck!
Balkan Boyz - Matchday 8 (Sz.4 - lvl4)
http://i47.tinypic.com/2vnfdpv.png
HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz eye historic win against FC SoZe in T11 CUP: "We wrote history for our team", says manager Ljepoje
Balkan Boyz (Q40,7) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond) >> 2 - 0 << FC SoZe (Q38,5) Formation: 4-2N-2W-2
The Balkan Boyz´s with manager -Ljepoje- at the helm took a historic win in the CUP-Playoffs against the French opposition FC SoZe.The Balkan Boyz started the game quite offensive and the strikers, Edin Džeko and Stevan Jovetić had a couple of dangerous opportunities to score in the first quarter, but the strong French defense kept repelling and stood firm. At the end of the 1th half, Ivica Olić had a shoot on target but their GK Paolo Mason rejected the shoot.
In the second half, Manager -Ljepoje- made a quick tactical switch by replacing Ivica Olić with Hasan Salihamidžić, playing in a AMC position. And what seemed to be just a "switch", become a "ice-breaker" and changed the game completely! In the 72min, Hasan Salihamidžić outrunned their defense, and curled the ball behind GK Paolo Mason and praised The Balkan Boyz with a goal, 1 - 0 was a fact! Ten minutes later Stevan Jovetić managed to extend the lead into 2 - 0 after a fantastic foreplay by Edin Džeko. The French manager -Keyser Soze- made three desperate changes the last quarter, but nothing seemed to go pass the strong Balkan Boyz defence! Nemanja Vidić, Nenad Tomović, Sead Hajrović and Ognjen Vranješ did a splendid job and keept out sheet spotless! The Balkan Boyz´s GK, Asmir Begović made two good saves during the 2nd half due a FK and a Corner. Also, Mateo Kovačić managed to clear the ball into a throw in the last ten minutes of the 2nd half. The Balkan Boyz play-maker Safet Sušić didn´t take part in tonight´s game, since the given red card in their last game against the Dutch opposition -FC Robelix-.
The Manager -Ljepoje- reflected on Balkan Boyz fifth victory in the T11 CUP play this season and said that his players should be inspired by the defeat of the French opposition -FC SoZe- and use it as the springboard to get further into the tournament.
"We wrote history for our team," Ljepoje said after a dramatic 2-0 win against -Keyser Soze´s - team. "This is a very special night for us and it must serve as an example for what we want to achieve in the future. At the end, it is just an important 1th leg win, and we have to play the 2nd leg as well. But hopefully tonights win will serve as an inspiration for the future, as in the CUP, as in the CL and League as well."
Scorers: H.Salihamidžić (72min), S.Jovetić (81min.ass:E.Džeko).
Subs: I. Olić <> H.Salihamidžić

Note: Early on in the league, we managed to beat the Turkish team - Saim FC - with 2-7. We controlled and dominated mostly of the game. The Home team managed to get an early equalizer after our first goal, but our guys stepped up and showed them "who is the boss". Also, Stevan Jovetć and Ognjen Vranješ made quite improvements on their training after some PT this weekend. Pic´s tomorrow :p

Over&Out
I hope the butterfly is a suitable combination for 3N-2N(MC)-3W(AML/AMC/AMR)-2...
Guy I'm playing tomorrow has a 5* team and has been getting some good results with his formation lately.
Easy win last night with 7-0 in league match and 4-0 in cup match. Also the team have signed 2 promoted youth players, one player need 15 tokens and another one was free. Just prepare the team for league and CL match tonight. Plan to have a friendly match or training for today
22 y/o DML/ML/AML appeared on my scout list.. a few SP from 7*. Playmaker ability so he'll probably be crap
Y U NO APPEAR AT THE START OF THE SEASON!?!?
Bloody hell, I already have a 7* DML and mid 6* Mata as AML... So idk if I should get him.
Could he be another Petersen or a Javier Pina? It is tempting as he has 3 roles but I already have a DML, I hardly play with ML and getting rid of my 2nd highest scorer for him is stupid.
Seems a shame he may have to stay there.
The scout list is really annoying, Nordeus should try and encourage players to part with their 50T by offering a better selection of YOUNGER and more QUALITY scout players... I'd love them to change the age range to 22-25 so theres no scouts on the list anymore that will be dead after the season after.
I was thinking about this too.. Who in their right mind would spend 50T on a washed up, low tier 6* player? It would take several hundred toks to get him to 7*... people do this which I find funny lol. But the important thing is age as 6* players are decent trainers at 22 y/o, Nordeus should put better players on the scout list. They want to make money right? Then do something about the scout list because a 28 y/o 6*50 rated player is not worth 50T in my opinion.
You would probably get plenty of takers on the 28 y.o. 6*50 player if he was up for say 10T, would make a good backup option if needed. but we are clued up on the scout list and I personally wouldn't buy a player older than 24 from the list. Although I did buy 6*93 Murphy a 27 year old GK but for Keepers it's different because you only need 2 in your squad at any given time and the reserve one may hardly plays so even then you can keep a older scout GK for a while that way.
.....
Older scouts are only useful for 1-2 seasons. Younger ones can be PT'd and last 5 seasons.
I can understand charging 24T for a young player because they are super fast trainers. But 50T for a 28 year old scout is silly... with regards to the 28 y/o 6*50 ST on my list, there are 5*49 strikers out there who can be bought for a few T and they will surpass him in terms of quality
Managed to get a few greens to spare saved up so I can do a session of PT with 1 or 2 of my players to add a Quality point. Thinking Tony Adams as he is 25 now and he will be out the optimum PT bracket next season, give him a final push towards 7* and then he we can still get 2 more good seasons out of him with a bit of natural growth from the player. I stopped training Hogan, O'Sullivan and Ramirez short of 7* so they can get a bit of benefit from good natural growth while at 6* and Ramirez as a good trainer as he is already got to 7* within 5 days of finishing PT for him for now.
