so, I drawed in my stadium against this scouts buyer 3-3
I really regret starting with 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond, I conceeded 3 goals early, but exactly after I changed tactics to 4-5-1 quasi-V Style
I scored, and from that moment I dominated the game, until I scored two other goals ..
in the 2nd leg I'll play as always with the same tactic I used to draw, I have big chances to win ..
here are some caps, as you can see I was really able to win, but this stupid Narrow Diamond tactic is **** against 4-4-2 ..

Aaaaaargh! Pulled a draw in the CL semi-finals... 3 missed opportunities + 1 missed penalty-kick .. :mad::p
Ifad FC-Extraterestrii 0-3
Champions League semifinals first leg
Scorers: Montoya, Villa, Hagi
MOTM : Lucas Moura ( 3 assits)
We dominated the game to one end to an other and didn't let our opponent to create oportunities at our goal till the 70 min
Even the MOTM was Moura we have to praise our DC, Estiben Montoya, who scored a goal and win all the duels he was involved in the defensive compartiment
Now we need to concentrate all our strength for the 2nd leg of the cup semifinal, wich we play at home, cause we are desperate to play our first cup final in the 13 seasons history of our club

Haha, yeah I read about it, sorry to hear about that.
I don´t know why they played/missed so bad since condition+morality+ win bonus was on MAX! ... And for the first time, I got 2x5 rated players in one game.... I wish there was a "punish" button that I could press and just roar my anger&disappointment
Reminded me of my Quarter-Final first leg ending in a 0-0 and I thought there is still a second leg and had 48 hours to think about what I would do and what I should do in game if I went a goal down. Eventually after switching formations 3 times during the quarter-final, I eventually found the answer then my team couldn't stop scoring and won 7-1 after being 0-1 down. I switched from 4-5-1 V to 3N-5-2 V because I needed to attack and score goals. Just have a good think about the 2nd leg and use your experience and time to think about what tactics your going to employ during the 2nd legs of both your cup and cl and hopefully you can get through. Even after the 1st leg of the cup your still in the semi-final and it is your opponents to lose.
Balkan Boyz - Matchday 22 (Sz.4 - lvl4)

HEADLINE: Penalty miss proves costly as Balkan Boyz draw!

Balkan Boyz manager -Ljepoje- could not look. On 68 minutes, Hasan Salihamidžić had the chance to seal a dream start in the CL semi-finals for his team, only for his penalty to be blocked by Malay Ultras goalkeeper, Victor Hugo Vidal. The game ended in a draw and Balkan Boyz manager -Ljepoje- walked away quite disappointed with a point when they had a chance to take all three.
Manager -Ljepoje- was left bitterly disappointed with the 2-2 draw, and in a short post-game interview he said, "I just can't believe it, I'm so disappointed at them all, I'm at a loss for words. The whole team underperformed and the star players didn't deliver tonight, I don´t know what was on their mind you know. First, they want to play the CL finals, but to be able to play in the finals - you have to win the semi-final, and we surely didn't win. Second, they think that they can settle down with a draw and that it´s okey, you know - it isn´t! Third, they are all players playing at an high level, and as such you need to perform 100% in every game, despite if you play against a weaker opposition or not, you have to give 100% if not 120% in this kind of games since they are of crucial importance".
The return will be played on Thuesday at "Balkan Boyz Stadium", starting at 20.30CET.
Over&Out!
Yeah, something I noticed is that I´m playing against the "best-of-best" in the CL (all teams I´ve beaten were around Q35) but my friend and league rival (FC Kula) get´s to play against Q20 - 25 teams... The CL toss/draw isn´t fair at all... Why do I need to struggle against the "best" but he don´t? ... If he makes to the final, and I don´t - or if he wins the final and I get eliminated in the semi-final (2nd leg).. I would be pissed as FU*K!
Won my first league with five games to spare :-)
I won my CL semifinal against at home 1-0 a very defensive (5-4-1) team. A good start, no away goals conceded, but I have to be careful in the away game. My DMC got injured in the 90th minute, and I dont have enough packs to heal him up. I hope Ill have enough packs by the return game, todays and tomorrows league games are easy opponents and not that important anyway.
edit: todays league was an easy 2-0 win, the DMC wasnt really missed plus I got an extra red pack for fair play. Shouldnt be a prob to get the dmc up again tomorrow.
Injury count for the season: 17
edit2: My 2nd team (victim for my friendlies) managed to hit 13th place in its league and 2 stars average quality (9.9). I hope I can "improve" this when the 2 star youth player is coming in next season, since 9 quality players usually retire quickly :D
FC Kneipenkick update:
League: FC Abrakadabra (28.1) 0-4 FC Kneipenkick (39.4)
In the league I played today at a RL friend of mine, Adrian, who sadly stopped playing since the start of the season. :( It is the fourth time we meet this season (league and CL) and it is as always 4-3-1-2 vs. 4-1-4-1. Kunz (19.), Díaz Rahi (50.), Mosqueda (80.) and Rubin De Toledo (83.) made it comfortable 4-0. Abrakadabra felt from 4th to 6th (one point behind the CL spot), while FCK leads the league with at least 4 points (match of the second not played).
CL: "Thai team name" (31.6) 2-2 FC Kneipenkick (39.4)
It was the expected tough semi-final. The thai manager fielded a 5-4-1, FCK responded with 4-4-2 classic. Despite 4-4-2 is listed as a counter formation the thai team had the better start, created the first chances and used one of them, 1-0 after 22 minutes. After about half an hour FCK started to get more control of the match and Kunz (43.) equalized right before half-time. The 2nd half we managed the match well, but after about an hour, the thai team got a FK and scored again the lead (62.). FCK was not shocked, but instead Kunz (64.) equalized. Despite switching from normal to attacking mentality and fresh players (all 3 subs used) the final result stayed 2-2. FCK fans fear a sh*tty exit like in last seasons CL semis (there we drew away and choke it at home due to a match engine fail (opponent saw red and turned my lead into a 2 goals win). But at least this time we got some away goals.
Happened to me last season. My FC Kneipenkick got eleminted in the semis, while my no token free-time troll FC (I watch no videos for it and only matches from time to time) won the league and the CL. Both teams are at the same level, FC Kneipenkick is > 10 quality stronger, but my troll FC plays on a realitive weak server (new server and there was no token buyer in his league and CL last season).
My CL opponent also went 5-4-1, I used 3w-1-3n-1-2, a narrow diamond variant with one more midfielder. I think 3-5-2 variants are most effective against 5-4-1, you really dont need 4 defenders against a single striker and no attacking midfielders. An AMC also seems good because 5-4-1 doesnt have a dmc. 3n-4-1-2 could be interesting, for example, but I dont have normal ML or MR.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL PREVIEW
bordomavi vs July Fourth Tonight
July Fourth vs bordomavi Wednesday
July Fourth 108.6 - bordomavi 99.5
For a part of the 2nd leg against ST.KOOZ United there was a moment where I was thinking I wouldn't have a Semi-Final preview to make in this seasons Champions League competition because we were losing at one stage before our brilliant second half performance came in to win the tie convincingly in the end after being a close affair.
So here we are in the Semi-Final once again for the 15th time in the clubs history with only ever losing one Semi-Final ever over 2 legs. Our opponents are bordomavi who are unfancied in this competition but fought well through a wide open part to the draw to get to the Semi-Finals, thanks to a manager who is active and does watch some of his teams games. It would be good if we get a bit of respect from our opponents rather than just throwing in the towel that some seem to do when they see my team.
bordomavi have a team similar to my last 16 opponents FC Tiki Taka which we dispatched rather easily in a 7-2 first leg win. they have a squad of 19 players meaning that he can name a full starting line-up and subs bench for our games and prefers the 4-3W-1-2 formation. But he has players to switch formations a little but not too much, he could also play 4-1-3W-2 if needed or 4-4-2 classic. They do not have any players in their entire team that have any special abilities and also they can name a full starting 5* team. Their main weakness is their attack, 5* Juan Reynoso with 16 goals this season and 4* Andrei Panescu with just 12 goals. They have an old average age team of 29.9 which focuses best on defence rather than attack. So they have experienced players in their line-up, their best player is their GK Birger Molisse.
We do not have any suspended players for the 1st leg and Miku, Norris and Novotny are our players on a yellow so it will be important to get a good win tonight and any other players as well as those 3 picking up a yellow tonight, will not need to be risked in the 2nd leg so we can have a full team available for the final on Friday should we get there.
ODDS: To Qualify: bordomavi 6/1, July Fourth 1/10
1st Leg: bordomavi 11/2 Draw 11/4 July Fourth 1/2
2nd Leg: July Fourth 2/9 Draw 4/1 bordomavi 12/1
Champions League Winner ODDS:
July Fourth 2/7
WoonY United 5/1
Beta United 8/1
bordomavi 16/1
Yeah, I read about your troll team. So, due to copyright issues, I chose another name. But it is a Troll FC, it trolls Kneipenkick since I started it at the end of the same season I started with FCK, but the troll team has one more CL trophy like my serious team. :( ;)
Yeah... I am sure there is more than one team in Top Eleven called Troll City, there is bound to be a few Troll City's around with other players that had the same trolling idea on the game. So you won more with your 2nd team? LOL...
I've struggled to save up tokens to buy players this season on the Troll City account, be lucky to have a good team next season since its a difficult server to get 5* players, there is always bidding wars even though Troll City is about 5 levels off the highest level on that particular server.
A 6-0 in the league match gave us the title already.
As cor CL, i was on trip to germany and couldn t watch it, finding a rather disappointing but still acceptable 1-1 away. I hope to be able to watch the second leg though.
10 minutes until KO in our CL Semi-Final 1st Leg.
Man, I'm doing so bad in league this season. Just lost the match for second place, now I am 11p behind 1st and 5p behind 2nd...
edit: but at least i won my first CL semifinal with 3-1 away. Finals here we come!
Cup tomorrow will be hard, lost 1-2 at home :/
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL 1ST LEG
bordomavi 1-1 July Fourth
bordomavi 99.5 4-1-3W-2 - July Fourth 108.6 3N-1-3W-1-2 (3N-5-2 V after 25 mins)
We were given another frustrating night in the Champions League and once again leaving us scratching our heads of what to do and how to play the 2nd leg, we were below par again and bordomavi in all honesty here should of won tonight and won quite well with a 4* striker believe it or not causing all the problems, we decided to attack and try and get some away goals since our away form has been good this season upto now. Michu blasted a shot over the beginning of the game and bordomavi had a few attacks before eventually they took the lead on 17 minutes when a Cope corner found Panescu to header it past Seaman, our goal came directly after we made a switch to bring off Miku for Norris to go 3-5-2 V and Michu's cross found Papaleo to took it in for our only away goal of the night. but we never were in the game and count ourselves lucky to get out with a draw because Panescu should of had a hatrick really but Ramirez and Adams blocked his shots on goal, Seaman had a poor game and it was just as well our defenders did the job tonight or we would of been in trouble. Michu late on missed a sitter and Mensah's 90th minute free-kick was blasted over.
Once again our Champions League chances have took a knock and we will have 48 hours to think about our tactics for our 2nd leg in which we play at home.
Goals: Panescu (17) Papaleo (34) MOTM: Gashi
I was thinking the same, then I´ve noticed that 6 of them ("the chosen ones") are doing quite well in comparison to the other 3. Then you know, if I manage to get them to 8* by friday, then I could "enjoy" the benefit and delight to have 8x8* players in my squad for the 2 remaining days. Also, since the CUP is on the 1 or 2 day, I cannot afford to get elimininated in the KO-stage. Also, I could concentrate on my PT on Jovetic and Vranjes instead, which will be my no.1 priority on Monday.
Then I´ve decided to not buy any "new" players for next season. Maybe a 18yr old MC with a SA and PT him - that´s it. :)
Today saw an indifferent display against FC Slatina in the League, but eventually managed to get through with a 5-2 victory in an unusually dirty game, with Goncalves (1), Arianto (1), Szabo (1), Toume (1) and Ebeye (1) scoring the goals. That now makes it 21 out of 21 with 5 games to go. Could Rhondda Rovers not only win their first League title, but achieve perfection in the process?
Unfortunately, a defensive opposition saw Rhondda Rovers fall to a 2-1 away defeat (even though they are quite a bit weaker than me), with the only plus being an away goal to take back home in the CL 2nd leg. Nicholls was our goalscorer. I will need to go back to the drawing board and think how to breakdown a 5 man defence (A 5-3N-2 formation was used against my 4-4-2 Classic). As I need to chase the game, I think I will need to go as attacking as possible with the best available players.
Yes, I made a slight mistake earlier I was playing those friendlies for boosters farming and in one of the friendlies I didn't hit the save button on the squad changes before hand so instead of starting with reserve players, I started with my first team players, I left the room and I didn't notice until I got back in the 60th minute and made the changes, so my players started the game with conditions around 77%. But even still, I've won many games where my players start with 77% or so condition like that. Won't happen in the 2nd leg, We will be ready and we will have more possession too with playing at home.
1-1 away is not a bad result. He must score, with a better team and the possession bonus at home it wont be that easy for him.
you cant win every match 5-0^^ (well some guys here can..)
Yes they must score. But if they do manage to score first, it then puts us on the back foot and a second away goal from them could finish it off against us. Yes we are strong favourites but our last 2 performances at home in the CL have been poor (0-0 draw and a 2-1 win) so they will feel that they have a good chance of over coming us. But on the performance we gave tonight in the 1st leg. We should of been beaten 3-1.
Monday. Matchday 23.
LEAGUE. Round 21.
Result: SATORU FC 0-5 LONDON CITY
Goals: Webo 8, Webo 29, Andersson 32, Duggan 44, Zola 54
M.o.M: Stig Andersson
Our season of inconsistancy continued, with this comfortable win. Man of the match, Stig Andersson was our hero, scoring once and assisting for two more. Pierre Webo opened the scoring with a solo run and shot, after just eight minutes. Webo collected his second after taking a through ball from Andersson just before the half hour. Andersson added a third, a couple of minutes later, heading home yet another precise corner from Andreas Costa. Andersson then set up Terry Duggan for our fourth, just on the halftime whistle. Nine minutes into the second half, Adam Zola conjured a goal for himself to virtually make the game safe. For the last 35 minutes though, we slumped back into our sloppy side, and the goals dried up. Fortuneately, our hosts couldn't capitalise on our ragged play. The win puts us 3rd in the table, two points behind the joint leaders.
TEAM TALK.
We have signed a new MC, (Dylan Baker), but are not going to press him into playing this season, unless we really have to. He is a scout level, just 5 points off of world class. So he will start next season as a 6* player.
Our DL/DC, Andreas Costa continues his brilliant season, making another goal today (his 18th assist), and there is talk of him winning our "player of the season award", although other players have more MoM's than him. (He has 5 though).
both your poor results would let you advance^^
but ofc you are right, its not a done deal. I prefer my 3-1 away, thats pretty much done.
Actually felt for my champs league opponent yesterday. Previous round he had, against all odds, defeated the competition token buy (10 quality better than himself). He was defo one for the watching so played the away leg yesterday with (3W-2dmc-3W-1-1). Ended up falling asleep and when i woke up id thrashed him 4-1. When i checked the highlights he had watched the game but was 3-0 down after 30mins before hed tried to do anything about it.
Tbh cant really see him turning it around but im digging my new formation!
Just beat my biggest rival & friend (FC Kula) with 0-3 away, this means that the 2nd place is more or less ours!
Btw, got 2 of my MC:s injured (first in the 1th half and the second in the 2nd half) both out for 2-3 days... Managed to play with DMC:s instead
CUP semifinal, 2nd leg in 5hours.... Gonna go & reload now
The perfect night!
Yesterday I had 2 very important matches.
The League big match against the other team in 1st position.
58/60 pts for both but he was 1st for goal difference (+96 vs +93)
In champions, the semifinal.
Results: 5-0 in champions and, though the matches were scheduled few minutes after, 2-1 in league (f**k you nordeus ;))
It was a great night!
Yes! After a 1-2 loss at home we advanced in cup with a 3-1 victory in extra time! Details later when I'm at home.
But I'm feeling great. After sucking in league this season (only 3rd), i might make both finals (leading 3-1 after the away game in CL too)
