LEAGUE ROUND 24
July Fourth 2-0 chaichana FC
July Fourth 108.7 3N-1-3W-1-2 - chaichana FC 94.3 4-2N-1-1-2
A dull encounter here with nothing much to play for with the league already over, just we are now 1 game closer to remaining unbeaten for the entire league season. I think our team have tomorrow afternoons Champions League Final more or less on their minds than anything else, It took 57 minutes for Papaleo to get the breakthrough and 78 minutes for Miku to put the game away with a stunning finish to earn the MOTM award.
Goals: Papaleo (57) Miku (78) MOTM: Miku.
Result Just In... AC Milan 2-1 erster FC Puma. Sister club erster FC Puma will be on the same level as us after being 6 levels higher than us when we first started playing the game. Chances are we will play in the same league next season.
First season playing T11 and having a blast! Just wrapped up top honors in my league! Was a very close league at one stage of the season, however few good results my way has secured top place with two games to play! Look forward to bolstering up my squad in the coming few days for the season ahead!

Aw sounds so crap! Hopefully get placed in a league with active members, makes the season a little more interesting! Oh guess this a good chance to thank you, as you have played a key role in my success with the counter formation thread posted! :P
We lost the cup final, after a season with a lot of misses the final was the worst of all
In the 70 min we had 11 shots at goal and only 1 on goal due to " It goes wide" - and I'm sick of it at my 7 stars strikers and MC's
We had the way better team and way better players, but it seems that we still have to wait for our first cup trophy
After all it was our first final and we need to look in the future and build a stronger team for the next season so we can finaly win the missing trophy:)
Go Aliens
Well... It was adel's old thread that inspired me to come up with the counters thread, but unfortunately the list is incomplete, since nobody posts any counters they find and everyone posts looking for advice instead on that thread. I'm hoping to get one or tow more counter formations in there myself.
League, round 24 - Didinaga FC 0-2 Perfect Tactics
Didinaga FC: 4-4-2 classic
Perfect Tactics: 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly
It was a game that we didn't have to win and we gave the reserves some playing time. The result reflected our effort in the game which was poor, however we don't care about this result as the league is already won. Krasser got his first league goal for Perfect Tactics on his first appearance but he'll be gone at the end of the season.
Goals: Petersen (15'), Krasser (37')
MOTM: Hardy
It's getting to that time to think about what sort of team we will have and who will be in it and who to PT and stuff like that. A few of my players that I gave a lot of power training back in L13 could bite the dust this season unfortunately with advancing age and losing another star each, Looks like players like Holvoet, Rocastle and P.McNamara will be sold this season and Campbell will definately be sold at the beginning of next season, Just trying to get him to the end of the current star with being 104 quality now and he should be sold easily in the auction next season, he will be 31 next season I only got him as a back-up. Baikie will be 4*104 next season and 34 years old. But since GK isn't a area of major concern and we cannot sell him due to retirement. Instead of replacing Baikie I may actually keep him and save on tokens for a season.
I think I'm keeping everyone in my team apart from Eastgate and probably Lamb.. Mata high end 6* so he'll get to 6* again next season. All my players are young and can be PT back to 7* next season with a few hundred greens. They are low end 7* right now, some mid 7* so it won't be too much
just played a friendly vs an inactive Lvl1 team which I won 9-0 without any problems. The funny thing: i scored three times in 3 minutes. 51', 52' and 53' (and in 48' too)
who can beat 3 times in 3' or 4 times in 6'? :D
Win in league 10-0 now 2 points to 1. place
Looks like you can't find a way to forgive Eastgate for his mistakes this season at all, could be the end of Playmakers in Perfect Tactics as far as your concerned. I have 1 playmaker but he is more of a goalscorer than a chance creater unfortunately lol, Think I agree with you that Playmaker SA isn't really anything special.
2 players at risk of losing first team places next season, L.McNamara and Mensah believe it or not, both will now be 27 years old next season and they will drop from 6*109 to 5*109. So if the right players come along in the scout or the nordeus gens at the beginning of next season, either or both of these can lose their first team place. Zidane and Crawford will be in their last season at my club next season and as you the youngersters Ramirez, O'Sullivan and Hogan will be PTed back to 7* immediately. Michu drops to midrange 7*, Miku drops to 8* and Hardy drops to 7*.
TRAINING UPDATE
I may of finished regular PT a long time ago much earlier in the first week of the season, but with farming extra greens from friendlies + extra greens from gifting and facilities and some from videos in the last 3 weeks I've been pushing 2 players towards the next star before the end of this season and we have reached our goal the day before our Champions League Final.
Ivor Hardy made it to 8*115 and Hatsune Miku has returned back to legend status reaching 9*120 and will have a short second spell at 9* before returning back to 8* on Sunday.
Hardy 8*

The treble dream is over, Feeder lose 1-0 to Level 5 world class standard opposition in the cup final. With the league secured without even playing, the consolation of a CL medal beckons tomorrow
still unbeaten in over 40 league games :)
WHOOT !!! i won the cup :)
I won todays league game 2-1, but at a cost: my dmc got his 2nd yellow and cant play next league game, and my 34 year old reserve MC got injured for 5 days, which basically means retirement 2 days early (could as well be a fatality). Since my 4th MC is also injured, I hope my main MCs stay healthy for the remaining two games until I can get a new MC next season. Since the last 2 league games are against comparably weak teams, I should manage somehow. A loss or draw would probably cost me my league trophy since im just ahead by 1 point. No catastrophe, but I havent got a league win yet.
Tomorrow in CL final im up against a full 6 star team (including bench; mine is 4 stars, 5 stars in top11) so I expect getting crushed. But a win is just a trophy and 200k, not really that much.
Injury count: 20
Btw, when should I kick all my "friends" at the same level? Im not really interested in a league full of active teams...
Fantastic scenes of joyous celebrations between fans and the squad of iLandslaget, all under the watchful sombre eyes of the manager of course, as the team all but secured their 2nd consecutive League Title with a routine 6-0 home win over Kato FC. The win saw the team, at the very least, maintain their 6 point lead over closest rivals thai-team FC who have pulled off a noteworthy achievement of their own keeping the pressure on the Swedish team for the full season. In the most pessimistic of scenarios where iLandslaget lose both their last two games and thai-team FC win both of theirs, there's still a +44-goal cushion to rely on for the Swedes.

While having the League Title all but secured in the 24th round of the season may have been enough cause for celebration, the raucous scenes had more to do with the thrilling end to iLandslaget's unexpected, and herculean, run in the Cup. On the other side stood thermia, a greek team of some renown and, with an on paper stronger squad than any the manager of iLandslaget could field.
The manager had done his part however, reading up on the Greeks tactics and formations, and iLandslaget reverted to an old tried-and-tested line-up of 3-2-2-1-2 with wingbacks shielding the defense from thermia's marauding wingers.

The game started in catastrophic fashion however as the Greeks took an early 2-goal lead, scoring twice through Deschamps and legendary striker Mukendi in the first 10 minutes of the game. iLandslaget struggled on however, methodic in their play and effort to break down a sturdy defense. In the 17th minute Liljehook struck one back for the Swedes breathing some much needed optimism back into the team.
A late tackle from Deschamps saw him seeing a slice of the cheddar but the following free kick came to nothing. It wasn't to be until the 43rd minute when Bouzgarruo dribbled through a tight defense and, instead of finishing himself, set up Gerailton perfectly to finish into an open goal. The Swedes had a slight advantage in possession and created the more chances but the Greeks were dangerous on the counter and dominated the corner statistics.

In the 52nd minute iLandslaget made several much needed substitutions to be able to keep up with an energetic opponent, Gamarra replaced Gerailton, Mawene replaced Hall Tennmark and Calle replaced Rodriguez. The teams traded blows back and forth with several serious threats toward the iLandslaget goals thwarted in the last second by a stolid defense.
In the 56th minute a surge from defender Karademitros exploited a vital mistake to counter and reaching the edge of the box he set fellow defender dos Santos up perfectly, who converted the lay-up to put iLandslaget in front for the first time in the game.
Concerted pressure from thermia ended the game, but the closest they came was a vicious shot by Mukendi that hit the post in the 83rd minute. As things stood, iLandslaget managed to see the game out nervously, and with the final whistle iLandslaget fans flooded the pitch to celebrate with their heroes.

Amazing cup final between Alex FC (Q 51,8) and Kaiserslauten (Q 47,8)!
Alex FC goes up at minute one with a thundering incursion by its 8* striker, taking the lead. For a good 30 mins Kaiser's coach doesnt seem to know/realize rhat having a 3 wide defense against 2 STs aint a good idea. But still he manages to tie at minute 20 by a shoot from his 9* MC. Alex FC keeps pushing and finds the 2-1 before the end of the half, just when Kaiser reorganizin into a 4-2-2-2 was taking the upper hand. The second half starts with Kaiser pushing more but Alex FC scores again on a counter! At this point when hope is gone KAISER manages half a miracle coming back on 3-2 with a free kick under the bar. Alex seems to be sble to stand the assault but at minute 86 a combination between Kaiser's STs brings the tie on! 3-3 and just when you are preparing for the extra times, Alex's FC DC overkills Kai's ST inside the area, getting a red card and a PK at minute 90!!! kai's striker strikes it in and the triple whistle arrives right after!
We are happy of rhe victor, since he is a "normal" power trainer which has few youngs in the team, while on the other side ALEX FC achieved his high Q by an almost all scout team and personal trainer. For the second straight year Kaiser wins the cup and Alex has both his Personsl trained team killed by in the way. We could have been there without the server crash but oh well :)

And Dynamo SWAG did it!
It was a good game, both teams played hard and had a couple of great opportunities to extend their lead (especially D.S). Anyway, D.S managed to pick the longest straw and won their 2nd CUP trophy. CONGRATZ!

Yupp
Neither did I, but D.S was clearly the better team. Then Orchard Utd managed to reduce D.S lead after some tactical/formation changes. I couldn´t believe the fact that he choose to start with 1 single striker from the beginning and benhcing D.Harding was wierd as well since he managed to score the 3 - 4 winning goal in our 1th meeting.
Anyway, looking at this final (opposition, result, stats etc) just makes the 3rd place Trophy more "worthy". I´m glad that we managed to get to the semi-finals after all. Will probably be a difficult task to "repeat" next season.
Took the number two spot after two of teams in front of me had bad luck today. :D
The leader is only one point ahead me and is playing a team on the top 4 which is fighting along for the number-one spot. A draw would be great for him, and a win for me; we're both competing against decent teams so it will probably be a close one for us both. There's high chances that I can take the league trophy once again.
Thursday. Matchday 26.
LEAGUE. Round 24
Result: ML UTD 0-1 LONDON CITY
Goals: Webo 31
M.o.M: Pierre Webo
We won a tight fought game against the team in 4th place, who had beaten us at our ground earlier in the season. The only goal was scored on the half-hour mark, when Pierre Webo slotted home, after a great pass from Oleg Yashin. Both teams had chances after that, but neither of us could trouble the scoreboard again.
TEAM TALK.
Today's win still leaves us in third spot and two points behind the joint leaders. Only the second place side has a tough fixture left, (they play home to 5th). So it looks like no better than 3rd for us this time. Today's 3 points now puts us 6 points ahead of 4th and 7 clear of 5th, so we have booked our place in next season's CL. Our 2 remaining league fixtures are at home to 12th place, and away at 10th.
Well... The way I see this new cup format, even though I'm no fan of it because of the disadvantage of the token buyer on my server is now "Let's give it our best shot" even though we will most likely end up being eliminated at the beginning again. Eliminated early = 80 friendlies next season.
Since there is no daily maintenance, how will new season transfer market be this time?
Very hard game in CUP FINAL! We won for the first time at level 12!
Still at 2nd position with one point behind and 2 matches to go!
Yesterday saw Rhondda Rovers win convincingly with a dominant 5-0 away victory over Manchester United 3457098534758474. The goals coming from Jorgensen (2 and MOTM), Gussago (1), Dos Santos (1) and Nicholls (1). The only sour moment came when Nicholls was injured in the 81st minute, but it is only for two days so will let that heal normally. Arianto will come in for Nicholls.
Tonight's match is against Joe FC, who could be a tough match seeing as they have won the last 5 games at least and I only just beat them 1-0 when we played earlier in the season.
I am also planning my transfer activity for next season, so unless anything major happens in tonight's match, I might look at offloading Toume, McGuire and Glauda afterwards.
