Champions League, round 1 - Perfect Tactics 7-0 Android FC
    Perfect Tactics: 51.7, 3-2-2-2-1 (45' 4-5-1v)
    Android FC: 25.3, 4-2-2 classic

It was a pretty dull match to start off with, we had chances but couldn't put them away and Android's FC defence were working well to keep us out and playing the butterfly didn't seem to provide any form of attacking flair. But we did score 2 goals before half time and both were set up by Petersen. The first was scored by Vittalone who took a shot from the edge of the box and netted his 3rd of the season. Nascimento got the other from a corner just before half time. We changed to a 4-5-1 v in the 2nd half and it seemed to pay off with a flood of goals. Petersen opened his scoring account for the season on 49 minutes and then Norris capitalised on a mistake from Android FC and made it 4-0. Petersen got a 3rd assist when his corner was met by Wrist who made it 5-0. Norris got his 2nd from a counter attack before a late Petersen strike from a free kick gave us 7 and a very big win.

    Goals: Vittalone (40'), Nascimento (42'), Petersen (49', 87'), Norris (50', 83'), Wrist (58')
    MOTM: Petersen

    LEAGUE ROUND 1.

Result: TANICHA FC 0-5 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Bentley 23, Bentley 41, Morgada 42, Gomez 46, Manning 60
    M.o.M: Hector Morgada (LC)

We got our league campaign off to a good start, with this comfortable away victory. Marcus Bentley got the first goal, midway through the first half. A three goal blitz in five minutes, either side of halftime, by Bentley, Hector Morgada and Pablo Gomez, made the game virtually safe. Clayton Manning bagged our fifth on the hour to finish the scoring. There was still time for home player, Mario Puncec to receive a second yellow card, leaving our hosts to play the final 24 minutes, with ten men.

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND 1.

Result: LONDON CITY 2-2 TAK FC
    Goals: Ruiss 14, Misirli 46, Duran 55, Gomez 61pen
    M.o.M: Sascha Ruiss (TAK)

We made a stuttering start to the CL competition, and never really got into our stride against probably the toughest of our group opponents. Sascha Ruiss put the visitors ahead after just 14 minutes, and the score remained until the break. We made a change for the second half, by replacing Bjorn Lanwer, with our new afternoon signing, Jake Brown. Straight from the restart, Jeremy Misirli doubled TAK's lead, and we were really struggling. Lukas Duran went on a solo run, and pulled a goal back, ten minutes later. Six minutes later, Pablo Gomez scored from the penalty spot, to give us a vital draw. Hopefully the team will be more lively for the next group game.

In other news, 19yo MR Jake Brown, was signed today to replace the departing Larry Redknapp.
