Cup, preliminary match :

Q 37.2 vs 31.4

We got a bit too confident seeing out opponent's AVG and after the night shopping ended at 7:30 am we could only sleep 4 hrs before lunch and work called us. Hence apart from PT we didnt check many things and time went by very fast. We were late noticing lots of 2* and 3* reserves in our opponent's bench, placing his top 11 on better quality than what we thought.

On top of that we went 4-2-2-2 forgetting how low dmg it did in the Cl final vs 3-1-4-2. And in fact we started being pressed for 20 minutes, and countered 3 times. Callaghan managed to defend the par as we quickly switched to our usual 4-1-2-1-2. Five minutes top and we were pummelling them down their own half, even with the coach and his 3 friends supporting the team. Two minutes later Tom Becker whistles the ball past tbeir keeper from 20 mts (27'). Five mins later is Mark Lenders piercing both defense and goalie with a powerful charge (32'), and before halftimr Diamond can overlap and receives from Hutton for the 3-0 (45'). In the second half space for Jason Derrick and Denton setting the lineup to 4-1-3-1-1, holding pur 3 goals while the opponents were sending in a 3d forward and an Mc for their DMC. We held onto midfield just fine without much troubles while stinging on counters, until near the match's end Jason Derrick was fit enough to flip their defense up on a counter and sign the 4-0 (78').

A good win considering we are holding back our PT results in order to favoura faster development of the team. Currently about 140 SPs to distribute.

Later on dor showcase on Transfers.
