Mine will be a league full of semi-actives like it normally is.

Shocking how your cup opponent ran all the way to the scout list and stock up so he can win the 2nd leg. I bet he won't even win the cup.. . Many buyers like that are clueless and you deserved to go through... You need to have a very low average at the end of the season (at least 3*) so this means give up everything to win the cup next season and get an easy draw

But is it worth selling Michu, Miku, Papaleo, Hardy, Ramirez, O'Sullivan, Hogan and others for this??? I bought tokens on Saturday ready for power train myself away from all the 98ers that I was expecting in the cup instead of the 105ers I actually got.

I bet you someone who saved up all their skill points during the whole of last season got trolled as well.

I think the main message behind the cup is... Have a crap average? Why don't we put you in with the lower levels who worked hard to get to your average, you'll get your confidence up and a nice trophy to add. And all you did was buy a few players having finished 11th last season.

If they are going to keep this disgraceful cup format, then at least TREBLE the prize money for to match its difficulty of winning, I lose $85M by going out in the Preliminary round. But I can play 50 friendlies this season for my training and get more greens/reds/blues and make MORE than the $85M that I would of got if I had won the cup.

Are friendlies actually worth it? I thought the energy and injuries you get from playing them results in a net loss of packs

Not really, but I'm low on $ now after last season buying those 3* and also out the cup, so on Non-CL days I'm going to play about 4 friendlies. Most of the friendlies will be played with sub/reserve players.
