You could try a 4-1-4-1 and adopt arrows and mentality on your opponents. If the other team defends the center well, motivate (red arrows) your ML/MR (additionally you can motivate the DL/DR) and attack over the flanks. If he defends the wing, moivate your MC's and attack through the center.

FCK update:
FCK had a good start into league with a 4-0 away win against a quite defensive 3W-2DMC's-3W-2ST. We countered with 4-4-2 classic, but needed standard situations to break this defense. In the CL FCK reached a 5-1 at home with 4-4-2 against 3N-4-3.
