Which Special Ability do you prefer for ML-AML ?

    Player maker ?
    Shadow striker ?
    Dribbler?
    Corner kicks?
    Free Kicks?

Any previous experience or screen shots about the effectiveness of each one ?

I gave both my AML and AMR shadow striker special abilities when i stayed level and I did not see any difference. Same performance, same goal ratio. I also gave my ST One on One SA, no difference. Gave my MC FK SA, you guessed it, no difference now I gave all FK duties to my previous non SA player who continues to regularly score like always.I gave one DC defensive wall SA and another aerial defender, still no difference .Moral of the story good players have hidden abilities, there is no conspiracy behind this. There is no real answer to how and when SA works and I think it is just a waste of packs.

On the other hand I do believe that players with existing SA have a higher chance of performing to their abilities like my Corner SA scout MC has always been great in that duty.

I'm to lazy to post all the pics

Hahaha. I have almost the same feeling you have. Season before I spent a lot of greens training a FK and CK specialists, 1-on-1 striker and... I saw no difference.
But since I have Wall and Aerial Defender in my defense, I have been rarely conceding goals from FKs and CKs.

I usually play with AMX, so prefer having shadow striker SA on them.
If you are going to use the player as ML, I'd go for dribbler or playmaker

Are you sure you would be able to note, lets say, 10% difference? Keep in mind that you have to compare with the same player but before he has SA.
    I don't think so.
If you feel or don't feel something, it doesn't matter. Feelings lie.

We simply don't know what SA do and if they are useful. Stay agnostic in such questions, because believing is stupid.

Well we tend to measure players with (one-one / FK- Shadow strikers - penalty ) with number of goals and and players with ( Corner Kicks- Play maker) with number of assists - unfortunately the number of assists disappear in the next season which makes it difficult to continue counting unless we take screen shots...

Regarding other SA such as dribbler - Aerial defend - defensive wall - and those of GK because it's becoming more and more difficult to evaluate their presence or not ... all we just have is memories of what we see on the pitch and the ratings but again rating don't represent only the SA....

Concerning the appearance of skills in the market ( auction - scout - assistant ) I can say that the market is overflooded with penalty kick- FK- Aerials - Defensive and GK skills then comes the Shadow striker , corner kicks, and Play makers with less percentage but I rarely see players with dribbling ... do you agree?

Kindly provide screen shots about your best dribbling player to see his stats / ratings / and scoring perc.

Even agnostics choose to believe in something but that is something for another time.

They had them for 2 seasons now so of course I can see if there is a difference (and there is not) and compare them with their old one. ST who scored 6 goals all season still has the same goal ratio. All of them are not performing any better than they used to. I expected to see some of this SA to come handy during important matches or even regular ones, but no, the same good old players resolve the situation, if they are having a bad day than the team suffers.

My theory is simple players with preexisting SA (scouts, recommended,TM) seem to perform up to their task. Players whom I've trained a SA are no different.
And by the way when we spend packs and time to train players SA a 10% difference is not what we want. what is the point of the training then, I could care less if my AML scored 6 goals and now scored 8.

Also forgot my One on one stopper GK. And for goalkeepers it is impossible to judge since they always get the blame when the team loses. The game rating system for defensive players is really unfair too.

Every TE player has limits and after reaching his limits his rating starts to become stable for sometime before he starts to lag in behind ...
In another words, every TE 18 years old player is like a baby , he grows fast ( from 18-21 ) then growth slows down ( 21-25) then growth almost stops (25-28) then he stars to age and die slowly ( 29-33)...

Have you ever thought in which phase are your SA players during the assessment ? if they are in phase 2 or 3 or 4 ... don't expect much ...

I have had young players in my team for many seasons now and at a time even a 22 yo I considered old .My oldest player in my team is my AML/AMC Son and he is 25 and one of the best consistent players I have had, has been since he was 18 and I bought him the day the new transfer was implemented. He is the one I mentioned who is good with free kicks without SA, he scores most of the goals in important matches. Meaning a good player is not easy to spot from the outside or it can't even be created no matter how many packs you waste on him.

Most players I trained where U20 fast trainers. Some are 20,21 and 22 now.
