What I find funny is that most of these auction players won't perform no matter how you boost them

True , but the the youngest one on scout is 22-23 years and improves really slow while you can buy one on auction for almost same price however improves faster and can stay in your team twice the duration any scout does

If he was 18 maybe I could see it, but I've seen 60 T payed for 97 rated 27yo DC. So these things tend to not surprise me any more. If only more people knew and gave negotiations a chance.
In my experience most negotiation players have been amazing and have been fast growers (obviously I tend to go for U21 players). I only get 1 scout every 3 seasons to quickly increase a gap in Midfield or Attack.

i think it best way with the only down side is some player want mad prices for their players..
