Training new player position , AML / AMR

I have a player that is AMR and I want to train him for the AML position also . Currently this is not possible unless you train it for AMC or ST first .
This doesn't seem right to me . An AMR should be given the option to train the AML position first . An AMR should be able to change sides easily to an AML like we see in real life football , especially if he has "both legs " .

yeah you got a point, and this thing should work for DR/DL too. it's so weird that a DL cannot be a DR atleast with a yellow triangle, adapting that position !
