No, it just means, they haven't renewed contracts. The match would be abandoned if they didn't have enough players.Quote:

Matches will not occur only when a team can't line-up 11 players...this normally occurs after mid-season with abandoned teams that plays with heavy tackle and receive a lot of cards and will have many injuries during the season.

When I was answering, I read only the first message, that was not correct.
This one I answered it was ok, and this is a very normal thing to happen when new seasons starts.
