FACEBOOK GROUP: O.M.A. Masters League IVth Edition -I created a general FB chat too-

Hi, I open this thread for all those who would like to try something different the next season, which starts in 9 days.

The idea is create a team from level 1 and use just the starting 80Tokens to create a team and try the best.

I'll add the rules and so later. Right now this is for fun, gonna think in the way to send some item for the winner :)

RULES

-Day 1 or 2 of the next season (season 103) the participants should create a new account, with it's 80 starting Tokens and post a screenshot in this thread showing the page : - Squad - Lineup and then choose the second option there (General¬stats and skills) so show here the page of stats and skills of the whole team (so we have a register of the att, defense, and phis/mental %'s of the whole team in 1 pic).

-The picture will show too, the starting 80Tokens and the boosters.

-Once season starts there will be from the day 1, until the middle of the regular season, (will depend of the groups, if are of 6 or 5 members) to buy players with the 80T + the ones from the sponsor's + the daily tokens.

-28 Season sponsor contracts should be signed. so 108 Tokens available. (+daily extras too)

-The leagues will be played using NORMAL Friendlies -FINALLY- so, teams should be added between them as friends.
I keep the idea to group in FAs the people, to have a internal chat and to be found searching the asso.

-Then I will divide the participants in leagues, of 6 member per asso if posible, maybe we have some group of 5.

-I will ask for the participants countries to try to have better groups to agree the friendlies.

-I will do a calendar, and the local team will be responsible to agree and program the match, (hope you all colaborate, to try to have a common, or 2 common hours to play the matches) and every round initially will have a time of 2 days to be played (maybe we accelerate it depending of the time, participants etc)

-Initially, after the regular season of 10 or 8 matches in what I will try to spread the players in 4 groups that should have the asso' names as;
O.M.A. North League, O.M.A. South League, O.M.A. East League and O.M.A West League, the best 2 of every group, will go to the Finals, been played these in a "Best of 5 format" in what every match will be played to have a winner, so if there's a 90' draw the extra time goals or PK rond will decide where goes the point.

-3 points/wins will decide the winner of the final rounds, been played always in a 2Local-2Visitor-1Local matches format been "always the Local team, the one that have better position as first criteria, and more points if both are 1st or 2nd in the regular season.

-The absolute winner will be the one who wins the big Finale.

-I will ask for screen captures time to time, of the whole %'s players page, as I can't control all factors like, if one pay win bonus or is gathering greens.

-I will ask participants to don't support others, and yes, the tickets prices can be set to have the +5% possession as Local team.

-Market open till the middle of the season, so, a group of 6 members will have 10 League rounds, Round 5 will be the last where to buy players.

-18 players as max. allowed per team, and between the 18 players will be allowed only to have x2 players of 6 stars.
The argument "the 3rd 6* player I have is a sub', will be not valid, a 3rd 6 star player means that one should be sold as soon as it is posible* -before playing any match.

-This is a 80Tokens challenge, you will have a max of 108T for players -till middle season- and then for some rests etc. so,
The plan is just use this budget, and don't watch the 30 daily ads. Try to be fair and respect this please.

edited: I added a comment in the #24, asking who prefer do the 1vs1 joining in FAs groups and doing the simulations via friendlies in groups of 6,,,,,,

So then, the plan will be;
-Create a account, linked to the email, so to google play, the day 1, 2 tof the next season (not before or you will promote^^)
-Once is created, you can open if you want, a FB account, and link the google play acc there, so, if your FB account is closedfor some reason, you will keep the google play access.
-Then if it's played via assos, we will divide the managers in groups of 6. with leagues of 10 rounds.
The winners will face each others in a finale at 4 to have a absolute champion.

Yep, as came to my mind the idea to simulate the leagues, facing each others in FA groups, this can be called perfectly, a new edition of the old OMA Masters League we played till 3 years ago, when the 3rd edition had to be closed for multiple reasons, so this, will be the IVth edition of the Official Managers Association Masters League.

Yes it is time to test your managerial skill here. Khris can i add something to the challenge? You only use the 80token given and you have to make a team in 2week, meaning in the second week all acct should have 0token. TM close.

Oky, edited the starting post, added some list of rules, some pending to decide, too list of participants, those who said that join and those who maybe, what really confirms the register is create the team on day 1-2 and add the captures, but.

Will the challenge last only 1 season?
What are the parameters to define the champion or the champions?

We will see, the plan is to play with limits some competition all together, as right now is co complicated to do what we did some years ago, a league with 14 teams all together creating acc's the day 1.... maybe this thread will stay here some seasons, and maybe too, I will switch to a idea of competition where to participe all together in some way, let's call it, FAs friendly cup, or do the 1vs 1 of a simulated league where all teams can participe (let's imagine that we do x2 groups of 6,7 or 8 teams) via Association Friendlies.

Probably if this works we will track the teams performances some seasons.

Then the parameters are the points gathered by each one in league, goal difference and I mentioned too, in the starting post the idea to add some extra points depending of the Cup Round reached. I'll try to clarify the last points before Sunday.

Exist the option to play in 2 ways;

-One is, creating the account, starting from level 1, everyone in different leagues, so we will count the points each one obtains in his league, and add some extra's for the Cup.

-Another option is, do groups of 6, I can do a calendar which will have, 10 rounds ( so the 6 teams will face each other x2) and we simulate the 1vs1 between us, using the FAs Friendlies.

Of curse to play assos you need level 5 of training (which is fast to reach)
In this case the local team would be responsible to program the match, after talk via FB chat (that I will open to stay in touch for the case) and find the moment.
If both managers can't agree a time, or can be moved in the calendar and added as pending or forced to play for the local team --which would be responsible as we will have a calendar to play this comp'-


?^^ ideas, too related to the starting post thoughts, if someone wanna share the opinion, will be welcome.

But I need some comments related to how the participants wanna play this tournament, via normal league, or FAs Friendlies?

Then right now I am 90% convinced about allow only x2 6* players inside the team with a max of 16 players.

I prefer with association's frendlies because, with the otger way, some players will have easier opponents and that's not fair.

Inside the 16 players you can have, there can be only 2 players of 6* as max, as we did really to keep a proportion in AvQ. If a 3rd player reaches the 6* one have to be sold, thats all.

So one can have as many players of 3,4,5* he wants, but 6* are limited.

so if I 'll find a GK , 98% q with 1-1 sa, after few games I must sell him.

Because I must have max two players of 119% quality right ?
I would say 115-7% because if I have a player 119% and he gets some MoM or gifts and goes to 120% I must sell him, right ?

So, to clarify well, the avQ of the participants will be limited, so no players of 7* allowed, and everyone is responsible to control the quality of it's team to don't overcome the limits, knowing that each match gives skill points, that there are gifts, and that if one train, will be exposed to overcome the limits.

As said, I will try to be implacable applying the rules so a 3rd player of 6 stars inside the team will have to be sold.^^

Once you start trying to organize friendly games through an Association you are just asking for bother
Create a fb group and all can post the results from the league and their squad shots as well ?

Hmmmm ... I'll try to have the rules -really are so basic, just 4 points to know and that's all, like budget limits (80t + season sponsor deals), market limits -till day 15 to buy-, avQ limit -max. x2 6*) and some place where to control the competition..... is enough really :)

Not sure now yet if do it via individual leagues, or do a calendar with 10 rounds, and give x2 days per match to be played... really I would like a lot to see people facing each other, so allow me to reserve this option, because is really the most interesting to have a real 1vs1 comp.
Too we should consider the option that some people can fall in leagues with L1 asso' tankers of 9* so.... with the AvQ limit I purpose, I prefer to go for the "sure way"...


The only point that all participants should know, is that as I mentioned in the starting post, the FB multi accounts can be hunted, thats why is key to link 1st the team to google play to have it safe....

League would start on Tuesday, but if is via FAs can wait 1-2 more days, cause having rounds of 2 days to play (10 rounds of regular league and a final best 4 or best 8) allow some freedom....

The truth is that Im 90% from the side to create 2-3 assos to group people xDDD some interaction can be nice :cool:

I suppose doing it through Associations gives it a better vibe it would also mean you didn’t have to stress with a league training and watching games .

Yep, this will be the easiest way to manage the situation, too the asso friendlies if 2 days are given to play each match, can be agreed with time, and added to the schedule with hours of margin.

The plan is that I should stay in 1 group, and every asso' as Im planning will have 1 person more or less checking (well all members of the group can check each others as occurred in the old oma leagues)

Maybe too every asso can have a "fixed hour where to play the matches" or a "period of hours," (I can try to group people by time zone) , so then will be like when the game add random hours, but more manageable.

But yea, FAs chat is enough really, then a FB group will be there as "bar" and we have the forum too xD

And once I know how many people created an account on days 1-2, can give me more time to do groups depending of the time zone, so is more flexible...
Really, is the best option to manage the comp', and the one that can be more stable.
Too if more people join next season there will be no problem in grouping them so, no L1, L2 and L3 leagues as before :cool:

I 'm offering to be a referee.
I won't participate in the contest but I can make a 2nd asso group with one of my reserves and add or kick out the OMA participants (and check the rules).

for tournaments like that you don't need new team (well, us that do not have 28 7* players to begin with)
set Q limit, set times, invite us to asso, that's it. what does it matter if someone spent 2 weeks or 2 years building a team if we limit Q?
also, playing with new team a league and cup you have ne real interest in, saving your team for friendlies .. dunno. having a full time asso also you couldn't avoid playing vs other random asso.. need to have loads of spare players to save your main 11...not easy with new team with limited resource

so, if its about new team starting from scratch, then leauge, and may the force be with you.

if it's about group of buddies playing friendlies, sure, but why bother with a new team. we set Q limit, play Tuesdays & Wednesdays, and can be back to native asso in time.
