Nordeus PLEASE EXPLAIN!

Just watched a Cup-match of a friend.

The Teams where pretty equal 40,0:40,8 (or so).

Minute 9 the keeper of the away-team gets injured (cannot proceed to play).

As no manager was watching the game (both teams) there was NO exchange of player.

Disregarding the fact, that the away team now had to play with 10 players (according to what was said), the away team scored 5 goals and won the match clearly... AND

in min 72 the injured keeper, that could not play anymore (according to the comments) did a brilliant save...

Now PLEASE EXPLAIN how that works.

why not just make auto sub for a keeper even if the player doesn't want to because you can't play without a keeper, period.
