Bit of a piss take that I barely won against the AI in a cup match. Also the fact that the player of the game was my one star player whom I was forced to resign.

I don't know if this is a sign of what's to come; that I may get bull****ted throughout the season...

relax you don`t have a good team ....
tips : bid for older 5* quality (during the morning you have more chances to buy with 1 token ) and not the top ... you may get some players to compete even if they are old 27~ 31 years !

I'm still shooting for Borussia Dortmund 2.0 atm. If I find out that I'll get murk'd in the league, I'll look into buying older players. But seriously, how many old players do you see in today's football; disregarding the MLS and ignoring goalkeepers and Carles Puyol.

Your team is almost the same as his in terms of quality. him being a bot has nothing to do with the result but at least you win.

I still feel the way I setup my formation should have countered his; and the fact that my MC conveniently gets a 2nd yellow after his player gets sent off.
