Player Position Contributes Effect to Formation ( Theory )
I'm curious with each player position and its effect to the formation
if you look at match preview scene, there will be comparison of % quality between 2 teams
Defend, Midfield, Attack
Defend Role consist of GK DC DR DL DMC
Midfield Role consist of DMC MC MR ML AMC AML AMR
Attack Role consist of AMC AML AMR ST
Yes, DMC AMR AMC AML contributes to 2 MAIN ROLE , DMC contributes to Defend & Midfield while AMR AMC AML contributes to Attack & Midfield ( You can try change your five or six star AMC AMR AML, and look at match preview scene, the % of change will be on Midfield & Attack, so do the DMC )
So, there are 4 MAIN ROLE = Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Attacker
And then, every main role has its own SPESIFIC ROLE =
GK --- DR DL DC --- DMC MC ML MR AMC --- AML AMR ST
the contribution of the MAIN ROLE to the formation different with SPESIFIC ROLE

Goalkeeper = 100% to defend
Defender = 100% to defend
Midfielder = 50% to attack , 50% to defend
Attacker = 100% attack
Simple as that
And then, there are THE SPESIFIC ROLE which come with more details in attack & defence contribution

We know that there are 3 kind of skill =
Defence , Attack, Physical
Every skill has 5 categories
Defence with tackling, marking,etc
Attack with dribbling, passing,etc
Physical with fitness, speed,etc
( GK the only exception )
And we know that each position has its main attributes, once again GK is the only exception and i think GK stand outside from formation because when you look at match statistic, in some occasion GK has it unique way

DC >>> 5/5 defence skill as main attributes, 0/5 attack skill as main attributes
DR DL >>> 4/5 defence skill, 1/5 attack skill
DMC >>> 4/5 defence skill, 1/5 attack skill
MC >>> 4/5 defence skill, 3/5 attack skill
ML MR >>> 1/5 defence skill, 3/5 attack skill
AMC >>> 1/5 defence skill, 4/5 attack skill
AML AMR >>> 0/5 defence, 5/5 attack skill
ST >>> 2/5 defence, 4/5 attack skill
The question is, Does the highlighted main attributes of Attack & Defence represent the player contribution to formation / match ??
DC >>> 5/5 Def & 0/5 Att >>> 100% Contribution when defending & 0% Contribution when attacking
DR DL >>> 4/5 Def, 1/5 Att >>> 80% defending contribution & 20 % attacking contribution
DMC >>> 4/5 def, 1/5 att >>> 80% defending contribution & 20% attacking contribution
MC >>> 4/5 def, 3/5 att >>>
80% defending contribution & 60 % attacking contribution
ML MR >>> 1/5 def, 3/5 att >>> 20% defending contribution & 60 % attacking contribution
AMC >>> 1/5 def, 4/5 att >>> 20% defending contribution & 80 % attacking contribution
AML AMR >>> 0/5 def, 5/5 att >>> 0% defending contribution & 100 % attacking contribution
ST >>> 2/5 def, 4/5 att >>> 40% defending contribution & 80 % attacking contribution,
if this is true then it answer why AMR AML scores more goals than ST
I still don't know the contribution of Physical skill into the formation / match
