hello, what does force counter attack mean in order?

Does it mean i use counter attack or opponent?

If I'm correct, it means "force them to attack so you can counter attack".

When you check it, it tells your team to allow the opponents players to come into your half of the pitch before you takeaway the ball(if you can) and shoot the ball up the field quickly for a counter attack.

You will lose more possession when you have this checked, and I am told that if they have a DMC/DMR/DML that it is not as effective.
Probably best used when using whole pitch instead of half pitch pressing style

Are you sure?

Whole pitch for offside trap and half pitch for counter attack, that's what I learned
