    Personally, I try to be harsh and say that if a player is down the pecking order and getting on, they will be sold regardless of age if I can find a suitable replacement (hence why I will look for a DL replacement for my 27yo). My avaerage age is about 21.5 in my squad and might go lower depending on the youth players I get tomorrow.

    If your replace them anyways, why not buy older players in the first place? if you buy a 30y/o he will be in your team for 2years too. And you get quite a better 30y/o than a 18-20y/o.

    And he will be more cheap.Yes, but a team needs to have young players who will be improved and stay in my team for many seasons.
