What about your GK ratings?
For the thirds season in a row my GKs keep on playing very bad.

This season, being the list scout very crapy, I bought a MC and a GK (even if i still think 50tks are too much for a gk)
and once again he performs very bad:



What about your experience?
My defense is quite good, is it "normal" that a gk always takes so low ratings?

Personally I haven't found my GK has poor performances ..but I know for a fact he is a medium to fast trainer, yet it is very hard to gain skill points from his performances. In training he is really fast, his performances in general are good but his skill point gain from matches is poor.

Look at the real football games and check for GK notes, you will see 6,7 even if their team won with 10-0...

As long he don't have anything to save he can't get a good rating.

Whenever my goalie scored a 5 every shoot from distance went in. Might not count facing weaker teams but against on par ones gets annoying. Almost went out the cup for taking 4 goals from 30 mts.

Same problem here. Lost the Cup Final and First place in the league, I believe because my keeper's last ratings were: 4-5-5-4-5-3-5-4 and he has not saved a single shot the last three important to me games vs strong opponents. He simply ruined my season by himself in the end. And those bad ratings started about ten days ago. I don't know why. He always plays with high moral and condition, I even renewed his contract and benched him a couple of games. Also tried different formations. None worked. I should have sold him a long time ago. Just had a hope he would improve cause he is of high quality, 5 star, 22 y.o., with one on one S.A. And my reserve keeper is also bad, so I hoped the starting one will imrove. But it's a good lesson for me. Next time I will know for sure. Sell or bench him the whole season and play him vs only weak opponent, when he will not have anything to save. Let's see how he performs in the first game of the season and then I'll decide his future.

I don't play this game from FB, but my secondary Goal Keeper (Khalid Lissaur) seems to be doing very well. Average form is 7.5. Has saved plenty of goals and has conceded very few. I'd actually say he's doing better than my primary goal keeper who I've had for the past three months. I've had my primary goal keeper since I started the game and despite the increasing competition he has never let me down. I wish I was able to post his hard work here
