Can someone tell me if player skills increase in games that are not watched by the manager, or only in ones that are watched? Thanks.

skills increase based on player performance during that game whether you are watching or not, as far as I know

no, skills of players increase (as in training) based on an "internal" ability of a player to gain faster.
The age and the high quality are negative factors.

Doesn't matter if you watch or not, the game.

All games whether attend or not. No skill gains association games or friendlies arranged by opponent.
