I've had to improve my team by 10% to be marginally the best quality team(at the moment), this will be a proper season as loads, most in the league, are in the 80's and 90's % think only couple of teams in 70's. big change on all other seasons to date where mostly top 4 has been a guarantee and often a 2 team shoot out
If they get more than 12 points I'll be well chuffed...

I got a challenging league draw full of long time rivals. But it's the first time I'm seeing +2 level teams in the CL. I'm level 39 and my group has a level 40 and 2 level 41. The 41s are 20+% stronger. Looks like I won't be making it far.

Desert Rats FC have done a bit of upgrading, three players out (Sarr, Fallon, Oldroyd), 34T on three Transfer Market replacements, plus a 79T Daily Recommendation player...
The new players were eased in over the two Legs of the 1st Round of the Cup, but all are in the squad for this afternoon's Champions League Group match.
Second team Holmesdale FC (Level 8) had a tight Cup 1st Round against a side +3%Q and shaded the tie with a 1-0 home win and 1-1 away draw.
With a monster set of League opposition, third team Moon Base 1 FC (Level 6) are concentrating on the Champions League and Cup this season, their 1st Round Cup tie was a relatively easy 8-2 aggregate win over a -18%Q side.
Both the junior teams have concentrated on replacing low-Quality players with cheap (token-wise) high-4* and 5* Transfer Market buys, as their only income is from Daily awards and competition prizes.

My 69 T scout DC is turning out to be angry like Pepe. Got a red card for spitting in a secured match getting a 2 match ban and he also got booked in the first league match lol.
Another season, the same old story.
Champions League.
-12% unmanaged team, 1 level higher than me.
2-2 and I scored a penalty at 86th!
This season will be a nightmare.
OK, so perhaps the Troll is playing for us this season...
On to the next match... and I think they'll have to concentrate on the Cup this season...
With any luck they'll be able to sneak into the Super League this season - hopefully!
