    How can myself and a friend be on the same server

    If I invite him to the game(I am level 1 and he will start playing via my invitation link) will he be put in the same server? or is there any way of working around this one?

    You have to send him a gift -booster- from your FB account, and he have to accept it before login the game for 1st time, then he will be able to create a team in your server. If both started playing, then it is not posible, one will need a new account at Facebook...

    how can one receive a booster without having a TE account??

    You can send a booster to anyone inside your FB friends list, this "opens" the option to create an account -aka new team- and this new account is created in the same server of "who" send the booster/"invitation" to play. Then is when one is converted inreferral too, if someone starts playing once accept your gift.

    If you invite him through Facebook he will be the same server as yourself
