Worth Defenders Training to become legendary player?

Is it worth to train goal keeper and defenders to legendary like AML and AMR position? I have two AML and AMR legendary players. They score so many goals but my defense is weak. Should I train my defender to become legendary players. I hope suggestions from seniors.

It's more important have them with defensive skills above 200% than at legendary level. I beat a lot of teams with strong attackers and weak defenders. GK it's less important, but too low GK level leads to worse ratings and most frequents "bad days"
