Getting Friends

I am a new player ,playing for 1 week. I have read a lot but nowhere near all of threads in these forums ,some are helpful ,some are talking about things I don't fully understand yet and some are no help at all but thanks for information anyway.
I have a question though ,maybe I missed the answer somewhere but anyhow. Regarding friends list ,I know how to ask for friends but why is it some players dont have the invite tag above their profiles ? Is it because not all teams are actual players , maybe Nordeus bot teams to fill up Leagues? In my League their are 6 teams who dont have the add friend icon and looking through the Cup competition and even in auctions only about 1 in 4 have the add friend option.
I understood very quickly the need to build a big friend base but came across this problem and just wondered why.

Players without the invite tag will be on a different server to you. The only way to become friends with these players is if you become friends through Facebook.

When you start the game for 1st time, there are bot teams to complete your League and Cup.
Those teams, the bot teams are not real and you cannot add them of course.
In auctions also, most of the bidders are from different servers so cannot add them.
