Number of passes in a match

It isnt really important for the game in itself, but it kind of troubles me that no matter what your possession you do the same amount of passes. I always have something like 80 passes. As a suggestion, and i dont think it would be too difficult to add, i think the number of passes should be significantly increased to like 400 passes for 50-50 possession and go up to like 800 in a match where one team clearly dominates.
