Why is my Striker Desment not scoring and contributing more

Hi Kelp

Desmet is 1.82m tall though lol so I think height is not an issue normally I like to pair my striker team like the below formation probably Desmet performs better with a striker beside him.

I am now pairing him up with one of my strongest strike team against one of my strongest opponent I really hope he does well this time as shown below.

Any suggestions would be helpful as I am still learning the ropes in the game.

I would suggest you are playing Desmet as an AMC and not a striker. I find with this formation which is very similar to my standard formation that it is the AMR and AML who snare all the goals

Thanks and I will try to put Desmet more as an AMC and fingers crossed, hope he does well, I have tried him in 2 matches in AMC previously and the result could be better but it is only 2 matches so I will have to use him more as an AMC and see how it goes.
