Desert Rats FC - new season...

Desert Rats FC start their 41st season at Level 34, having won a League and Champions League Double last time out.





And with their trophy cabinet boosted by two, their History looks like this...



This season, they start with this Squad for their assault on League Level 34.



They have a +1 Level Champions League, as usual, but this time with higher-Quality opponents.



Last season's Player-of the Season...



...has started this season banging in the goals, with three in the two 1st Round matches in their +1 Level Cup.

Speaking of which, the first WTF? moment of this season:

Yesterday, the Rats' Cup opponents were not much to be bothered with...




...and were dealt with accordingly...



Today, reviewing the match with a couple of hours to kick-off, the Management were shocked...




...and only an away goal made it virtually impossible for the opposition to get back into the tie...

Nouvion FC - the 3rd Season

Having repeated their first Season efforts and gained a League and Cup double last Season, Nouvion FC make a foray into the heady heights of Level 3.





Player of the Season Gary Sampson set several records during his first season with the Club, 5 goals in a match, 56 goals in 41 appearances, no less than 7 hat-tricks, including a hat-trick and a 5-goal haul in the same day, and Golden Boot for the League and Champions League, and joint top of the Cup goal scoring table.









This season, Nouvion start with the following players:



They hope to go further than the Quarter-Finals in their second attempt on the Champions League, and have a fairly tricky Group to negotiate first.



But first, there was the 1st Round of the Cup to get through, and they managed this with some style.



The Management couldn't resist trying to emulate the success of his Day 4 Recommended Player purchase last season (Gary Sampson) with this offering this morning...



We'll see how he gets on...

Who do you want to replace? I want to replace 2 older players if I can find the right youngsters and get some squad depth.
What are your goals for this season? Win a second treble , strengthen squad with more youngsters

Which will be your main formation? 3-1-2- 3-1 , my players have great flexibility of position so can easily change to either more defensive or more attacking when needed

1. I learned that anytime you put a lot of effort into your team thta anything is possible.
I placed second in the league, third in Cup, and won the Champions League.
2. Yes, I do participate in Associations Cup. Currently my Association is stuck in Gold division 3.
3. I'm at level 8.
4. Was around $50 to $55 M
5. I don't really want to replace anyone at the moment, but I always try to bring in better defense, so I'll start by buying a new CB, RB and a GK.
6. To try and keep the Champions League for two seasons in a row. At least win the double and if possible the treble.
7. I'm at training level 58

I don't know the specifics of your game, but that doesn't look like a 'troll' result to me... not in the way I would define troll result at least. It's a lower quality team narrowly beating a higher quality team having had less possession, probably playing on the break with fast attackers. It's disappointing but surely not particularly unusual (in TE or in reality)?

Always ended up with either lost or draw in 1st league match. As expected lost away match yesterday to weaker team. Today back to winning ways. Hopefully the only L for the whole season. Lol

After a treble, do the draws usually get tougher? At early levels when i got my first 2 trebles, i didnt experience this.
On the bright side, i think i will be more excited and on edge this season lol

Hadn't had a treble since level 3
Top six teams in the league will either be of similar quality or slightly higher.
Cup and CL - meeting teams one level up
If unlucky or lucky - will have some tankers in the group
But should you win a trophy - it will be much sweeter than conquer all in a weak group.
